Point Transfer 21 and 22UY?

We are currently in 20UY. Can we transfer out points from 20, 21, and 22UY? I know it's allowed for current and forward year so 20 and 21 for sure. But out about 22? Thanks.

No, if you are in your 2020 UY, than you can only transfer in/out 2020 UY points and 2021 UY.

This is where it gets tricky, when you are working with someone currently in their 2021 UY, as they can only received 2021 UY points and 2022 UY points, you can't transfer out your 2020 UY points to them, only 2021 UY points.

It can be tricky. Everything does go by UY of the points being transferred. So, as you mention, someone who is in their 2021 UY, can only get 2021 or 2022 UY points right now.

However, anyone still in their 2020 UY can get 2021 UY points that can actually be used in their 2020 UY as long as the trip happens after the 2021 UY points are valid.

For example, I transferred June 2020 UY points into my Dec 2019 UY. I was able to use them for trips during both my 2019 and 2020 UY, since transferred points retain their own usage rules.

Right, while it took me 2 readings, I understand what you are saying . But I can totally see how this will cause even more confusion. For sure, UY rules is complex, and than adding transfers on top make can make things really complicated.

So don't feel bad if everything isn't clear as mud, it took me very long time to even begin to grasp it, and even than, I always seem to forget and still get confused myself sometimes, LOL!
