Point Summary bug on members' website is fixed!

The bug in the "Point Summary" display on dvcmember.com that affected AKV owners has been fixed! I just checked my account a few minutes ago and the summary display is correct.

When I checked the contract detail display for my AKV contract, it still shows the resort name as "null". I'm surprised they didn't fix that too since that should have been an easy thing to fix.
 
My points have been corrected too. BTW, it was not just AKV owners. I'm a SSR and BWV owner and my points were a mess. They are fixed now.
 
YES!! FIXED!!! :woohoo:

Am I the only one who just loves the AKV music on the web site? Even the noise the scroll makes as it unrolls?
I also click the "preview now" tab, as I just love those African drums.

I believe that was a different problem and a much worse one at that so I'm very happy to hear they fixed that too!

Thanks Lisa, it was hard trying to figure things out with the dates all wrong. Glad its fixed. :)
 
It isn't fixed for all owners. I am still showing negative points. I even cancelled two reservation and MS cannot make heads nor tails out of my contacts. I am unable to do any bookings until they fix this for me. She did say I wasn't the only one there are several others who have add-ons at AKV that are showing negatives for both AKV and their other contracts.

There are two different problems. The one I'm referring to in my initial post is just a display problem: the Points Summary display was combining data for different Use Years across contracts. The underlying data was still correct but the way the data was combined and the labels used on the display made it difficult for people to make sense of their points.

The problem you have is much more serious because it appears to be a data problem. I'm sorry to hear they still haven't managed to fix that one. The display problem was annoying but it didn't concern me because the data was correct. In your case, it appears that reservations are getting mangled and even if things appear to be fixed one day, they might be mangled again the next. I've been holding off making any reservations since I first heard about this problem. Based on your post, I'm going to hold out a while longer.

Sorry to hear not everyone is fixed. After spending most of one day on the phone and the entire weekend thinking about it, I wrote to them on Monday and sent a detail account of when I called, who I talked to and the promised outcome. I tried to explain the best I could what was going on. So to my surprise the next day my balances were correct. Even though I had spoked in length to many CMs last week, I wanted to start a paper trail and decided to write. If you have not done so, it's worth a try. I too was showing a negative for my SSR account when it should have been showing 256 points available. Good luck and keep us posted.
