Point Strategy, Is this Do-able and Smart

We own 250 pts. at VWL and another 250 points at BWV, both March use years. We have 1 point left over at VWL this year, which has been banked, and a reservation for a 2 br. at BWV for next March using nearly all of our BWV points.

Does it make sense to cancel and re-book our first day, March 11th, to use up that left over VWL point ? Most importantly, I DO NOT want to lose one of our March BWV days if canceling and re-booking will put that day at risk of going to someone on a waitlist.

The 7 month window for that 1 point is August 11th (I guess that means Monday the 12th as the 11th is a Sunday), so I need to do something soon.

Make Sense ? or too much work for too little benefit ? What do you think ??

JMHO, too much work, Dave, for that one point.

Since you've banked it, you have that little guy out there for use through 2003 (and early 2004).

Plus, you'd hate to cancel that 1st day and then have some snafu come up which prevented you from getting it back.

Or you could just email MS and see if they can easily fix it. If not nothing lost and no time on the phone on hold. If they can, you have an extra point for next year.
