How accurate is it? Should I use that or figure out how many points I need on my own?

If I ask a DVC member for a certain amount of points, say 110 and I want two seperate rooms (two BCV studios) at 55 points each, is that possible? I realize it would be 2 reservations, but could that work?

If you are not a DVC member, points will do you no good. You need to rent a reservation from a member, and the member will have to make that reservation for you. You CAN find out exactly how many points will be needed at any specific resort for any specific time by using the points calculator.

They are exactly on the money and also you can definately do two reservations at a time. I did it last year, me and DW and DDs were going last year with another couple. So I rented the points from the same person for two studios. Luckily I made one reservation under my name and one under my DWs name just in case the other couple bacck down, which they did. So we ended up with the two studios ourselves which was Ok.
