Point Banking panic...

So I just logged into my dvcmember account and it doesn't appear that my points were banked.

I specifically remember telling MS at the time of my last reservation (3 months ago) to please bank the remaining points.

As I have a September use year, I checked online just now and saw that my points were not banked!!

Did I lose them?

Or will they post tomorrow as today is only May 1.

Freaking out...
 
Post of how this turns out please.... I'd be totally anxious too!
 
MS makes more mistakes than most people know. In the future do your transactions online and/or via the contact form on the member website. That way you can keep a record of any transactions.

You keep your own set of records in case MS has a software issue and your account is wiped out, correct?

Call MS, ask to speak to a Team Line CM and explain your problem.

Did they give you a banking confirmation #?

Always check your point balances after any transaction.

If you missed the guideline they are not bankable. Occasionally DVC will make an exception so do ask. Also, they can go back and listen to the call from before and if the mistake was on their end, they can fix it.
 
Always get a banking confirmation number, make a note of who you talked to and double check on the website that they did it right. I always do this on the phone as opposed to through email. I think that they don't get the conf. number until after they actually put through the transaction in the system so I think once you have the confirmation number then you are pretty safe. I also keep records in a spreadsheet of every transaction so that I can always go back and check on it.

This. It shows up immediately online (usually). But they should have given you a confirmation number for banking your points. If you didn't get that number, you're out of luck.

Unless you call and "beg" them by telling them what happened. But I'm sure they've heard it all before.

Anyway - i'm going to take the advice of those in this thread, going forward I will do it online and take note of the banking confirmation number.

I was livid last night - appears for no reason whatsoever...

I'm glad it worked out and betting that it wasn't completed initially and your call prompted them to complete it and rather than telling you that, they just said it was all done and OK, which it is.
