Point Add On Questions

Unfortunately I live in a state that DVC is not allowed to work with remotely. Any purchase questions that I have must be handled in person at WDW no exceptions.

So... I was wondering, has anyone recently added on points? I am looking to add on 50 to our SSR purchase. I am hoping that when we are there this October we will be able to add them on so that we can use them in the August of 2005.

I knew that I should have bought more up front !

We just bought SSR. I specifically asked about adding on with the same use year. The answer was: until SSR is sold out, any use year should be available. Phase 2 and 3 have not gone for sale yet, so you will probably get in on one of those. I also plan an add-on next summer, and was assured I'd get the same use year.

You will definitely get the points, in the use year you want. Don't worry about it. We just added on (Again!!!) and we have gotten our use year (each time).

The only bad part is that you won't have them at the 11 month window to make your reservation. You could always borrow from your 2006 points though and then bank these, nknowing that you'lll have them in the next use year.

The good thing is you'll have a little more time to save a bigger down payment.
