We are staying at All-Star Music, and we have a dinner reservation at the Maya Grill (Coronado Springs) at 7:15 next Friday night. From there, we are planning a carriage ride at Port Orleans Riverside. And from there we'd like to head to Downtown Disney for drinks. The last time I was at Downtown Disney on a Friday night (granted, the week before Christmas) parking was an absolute nightmare.

So my question is: is there an easy/logical way to do this via Disney's transportation? Or is it going to take us so long to get from place to place that we might as well just drive and fight for parking at Downtown Disney and limit ourselves to A drink (or two...in order to be able to drive back)?

(I have no interest in spending money on a taxi.)

In order to get from one resort to another, you're going to have to transfer at a resort or DTD. Plan on it taking 90 minutes each time.

What time is your carriage ride at POR?

Since you have a car, it will be better to use it for this evening, given so many trips time consuming via Disney transportation.

If you really want to drink a lot, then drive back to your resort (All Stars) after the carriage ride and take the Downtown Disney bus from there, no transfer needed for this trip.

I would take the first bus to Epcot or the studios, which ever comes first. Transfer at the park to CS bus. After dinner use the same plan to get to riverside. Then bus to DTD. The time that takes will depend on the amount of bus pixie dust you get!

This is a great option. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I seriously doubt we'll end up drinking a lot, but after our last experience, I just feel like it would be a lot less of a headache if we didn't have to drive to Downtown Disney.
