We absolutely LOVE staying at POFQ, but I have to say their CM's had us so confused as to what the kids could order on the DDP. We ate breakfast there every morning and got so many confliciting stories. For those not familiar with the food court layout, there are 4 counters where you can order. All 4 have 1 or 2 breakfasts in common, but then also offer several different dishes. I went to one window and asked for a kids waffle breakfast. My son got a small plate with 3 small mickey shaped waffels, which was fine. My sister went to a different window and asked for the same thing for her son. She was told they use the same waffle iron for everyone, so her DS5 ended up with a huge adult waffle. On another occasion, I asked at the omelet station if they had kids omelets. They said no but the kids could still get one on the DDP, so DD wanted that every morning. On our 5th day, the lady took my kids orders, and while the omelets were cooking she said "You know they can't have those on the dining plan." I explained that we had ordered them every day after being told we could and never had a problem. I told her I would just pay for them since they were already being prepared. I got to the cashiere and she said it was no big deal and rang them through on the DDP.

Overall I think the DDP is wonderful, but I think the CM's are so overwhelmed with what is or isn't included that they can't keep it straight. I also got the feeling some of them thought we were out to cheat them, when we were only following what we had been told earlier.

I would have to agree with you, Lila - we were at POR in late September and though every CM was accomodating, they all were not on the same page.

I think sometimes it's the inconsistencies that make people nuts around here. It's a big place, and staff, as well as policy, changes lots.

We had the same problem at POR this past August/September. Different answers to the same questions. It was frustrating at the register but when I insisted that we had the same thing yesterday the CM usually relented. Probably because she or he was just as confused as we were.

When we were there last week I asked at the gift shop if I could use CS for snack items, since we had leftover. They said yes just go to the desk and they would make the switch. When I did that they said no, thats not true. Thee is alot of conflicting info, its hard. Overall tho, we loved the plan, and didnt have trouble.
