POFQ two questions

1. This is my third time to stay at POFQ. In the past, they have provided towels by the pool that you return in a large bin when you leave the area. However, when I was reading over someones packing list they had beach towels on the list because they said that the resorts do not provide these. Does anyone who has been recently know if they still provide the towels at the pool? This will save lots of room when packing.

2. I have a ADR at CP at 8:10. Is there a bus that will run early enough from POFQ to get me to the MK on time? If so, what time do you recommend catching the bus?

I know at POR they had towels at the pool so I would say that they have them at POFQ also. As far as the bus I don't really know.

Hello,

Yes they still have towels available near the pools at mods and deluxes... only the value resorts do not have towels available and you need to bring then from your room.

As for buses they start to run aprox 1 hr prior to park opening. If that still is not early enough ask the concierge at POFQ what time the character meal bus starts that day. I've heard that it usually runs 6:30 ish but have never taken one myself..

Hi,

POFQ does offer towels at the pool. Perhaps that person has special towels they like to take on vacation.

The bus should be there on time to get you to your reservation. If you are unsure or if the bus is not there at 7 AM, kindly go to the front desk and they will call in for you to make sure a bus is coming.

You are not supposed to take towels from the pool at your resort to the waterpark. The waterparks will offer their own towels.

You can just take the towels from your room to the waterparks.. if you ask mousekeeping they will leave extras for you. You do however need to bring them back to your resort.

Everybody has answered the towels, so I will move onto the bus situation.

We were there last week and we had ressies at CP at 8:05. I went to concierge the night prior and asked them about the bus service, and he mentioned that they start running at 6:30, so instead of driving, we chose the bus. BAD MOVE!

We got to the bus stop at 6:55 and got on the first MK bus at 7:50!!!! There were a bunch of people waiting as well. We did not get to CP until around 8:20.

I should have driven like I originally planned and then took the resort monorail (which does start running at 7 am) If I were to do it again, that is what I would definitely do!

FWIW...the entire week we only took buses to MK (drove to the rest of the parks) and we never waited more than 5 minutes any time.
