I was just reading the horrible tales of the POR busses and when we were at POFQ last year we had a car. Friends of our did not and we arrived at the parks at virtually the same time -- car and disney transport. This year we will not have a car. Does POFQ have a separate bus ever dury peak opening and closing times?

POFQ and POR split after 3:00pm for MK only.

Well, I guess that's partially goos news as we will probably stay late at MK one night. I wonder how bad it will be at Epcot???

You will be just fine. We have stayed at POR and FQ and will do FQ again this Sept. Never had a bunch of buses issues. In the mornings when your at fQ and ready to get to the parks stopping at Riverside is not what you want to do but it really only takes about 5 minutes. AT MK coming back FQ always had their own bus and it was usually there within 5 minutes. We will not have our car this year for the first time but I really think we will be fine just have to plan ahead for a few meals better than knowing you can drive. You have to remember everyones opinion on buses is different but I think in the long run there are going to be days and times at every resort that someone has issues and things were not as quick as they wanted them to be. Have Fun!

The two resorts at times do share busses but it has never been an issue for our family. We love staying at POR and do not mind making the extra stops at POFQ.

On a side note:

 Have you ever witnessed a resort bus that was not crammed with people at the end of the day?

This probably will not help as others have had a different experience, but we stayed at POR and FQ in early Feb, early May and late April different years - not once did any bus share with the other Resort on the way to the parks. FQ did not pick up at Riverside.

On the way back, it seemed to be just a FQ bus as the bus emptied at FQ each time. Same when we were at Riverside :)

We only go during peak seasons at Disney and usually stay at POFQ. They do run separate buses during the peak times at night (and sometimes in the morning!) for MK. I have, though, seen them have separate buses for other parks when it is really crowded.

Just remember the rule of thumb, POFQ gets picked up and dropped off first so you usually will have a seat. :)
