POFQ room request

love planning for Sept!! The calendar isn't out yet so I thought I'd ponder which building/room to lobby for.

Will be myself & a friend (50 somethings), looking for a fairly quiet room so I'm thinking 3rd floor. Love the DTD boat ride so proximity to that dock would be nice. Last year we were in an 80's building at Pop Century & that was a hike I'd rather not have this time. Will be using WDW transportation exclusively. Booked a standard room.

Ok, what do you suggest?

We were at POFQ 2 years ago. We had a std view and were in the second building from the pool 3rd floor. Easy walk to the boat dock and to the food court. Nice and quiet. Love this resort.

as you look at the pool with the main building at your back, were you to the left or the right?

I don't remember the # but we were to the left. We had a view of an inner courtyard.

We just stayed at PORQ the first week of this February. We were in building #5 on the first floor facing the court yard between building #5 and building #6. Our room was #5139. We were centrally located among the boat dock, food court, and the bus stop. It was about equal walking distance to all three locations with the food court being a little closer than the other two locations. We really enjoyed this resort, everything was very convienent. We could also walk to the Riverside food court in about 8 mins..

I was looking at building 6 perhaps or its opposite in building 5, or maybe building 3... the again #1 looks nice!!!! Decisions, decisions!!!

We stayed at POFQ in December and fell in LUV!!!
We were first given building 7, which I did not love. However, I simply called front desk and requested a building closer to the food court/bus system. They told me to come on up! They gave me building 4, level 2, and it was PERFECT!!! We were a 20 second walk from the buses, food court, and hot tub!!!
