POFQ Room Question

We are getting ready to book our 2006 trip to WDW. We are going to stay at POFQ. What building/room is best?

We stayed in Building 5 in a water view room. We really liked it. It was very quiet, but still close to everything.

This resort is so compact I think you will be pleased with any location.

We just stayed at FQ. We'd requested building 5, but got building 4. It actually turned out to be a more convenient location. We were in room 4121 which is on the parking lot side of the building and very close to the Food Court and the Bus Stop. You don't really SEE the parking lot because there are lovely courtyards between it and the building. We loved it. The only buildings I wouldn't want are 1 or 7 because of the distance from everything. Still, this resort is so compact compared to the others that even these aren't too bad!

We stayed at POFQ last December and enjoyed the resort. However do not let the supposed small size of the resort fool you. We were in bld 7 and it was hike to the pool/food court area. We had a rental car and made good use of it as a long walk after a day in the park is not fun.

We would stay at POFQ again but would request a location this time. I'd put "close to pool/food court" in my request info just to be sure your not stuck in bld 1 or 7.

BTW - One positive of bld 7 was that we did see fireworks from our room. Not sure which ones exactly as it was on a MVMCP evening.
