POFQ Refurbishment

We have our vacation scheduled for May 11-18. We are staying at POFQ. Just received a letter saying that the lobby would be in the process of refurbishment during our stay and apoligizing for the noise and inconvenience. Does anyone have any information about this. Any idea how much of a distraction that will be? We are taking two dear friends who have never been before and really want them to have a magical time. I am afraid this might spoil some of the magic for them. Suggestions please!

There is detailed info on the resort website. It is listed at the beginning of the resort thread for POFQ. I do not think it will be that big of a deal as how much time do you spend in the lobby hanging out?

The lobby is no where near any guestrooms - i'm sure it will be no big deal.
