We're heading here in 10 days!!!!!!! we have two little kids and would love to have some milk, juice boxes, bottled water, and maybe some granola bars or something for in the room. Can we buy these in a little store in the hotel or do we need to do that Garden Grocer thing?? Thanks!!

Hey Ellie

We are leaving in 10 days too! Maybe we will run into each other (keep a look-out for our LGMHs!). We also just returned from Target where we bought up the rest of the halloween decorations we are using to decorate our window!!!

To answer your question, you can pick up snacks in the store, Jackson Square. I'm not sure on the juice boxes though. Everything else I have seen!

If you don't find it in POFQ's store, check out POR's Fulton's General Store. Their's is larger than POFQ.

I believe that all of the stuff you listed is available in the store at POFQ. :thumbsup2

Have a great time! My DD and I LOVED this resort!

I'll be at POFQ in 6 days! The store has a nice supply of groceries, considering the size of the resort. Like PP mentioned, you can always go to POR.

We'll be there in 10 days also - after 6 nights at CSR. So we leave for WDW in 4 days. Good to know that there'll be some other friendly people there. As others have said you should find all the things you mentioned although they will be at typical resort prices.

You must be sooo excited!

Just a thought, from my own experience - it was so much more convenient for me to go online pre-trip and order stuff from gardengrocer and have it paid for and already be at my resort on check in - milk was cold and bell services brought it up. Prices there are non-sale prices at your grocery store at home and you can get anything you want vs. limited selections and resort prices at the gift shop on property.

I also like having the stuff in the room already and not stopping by the gift shop for room necessities - just cuts into our time for fun!

Have a great trip!!

I was just there in July and the store had everything! If I remember correctly the store carried larger size milk, if you want the small one's go to the food court. I stocked the room with the small milks, the packaged cereal bowls from the food court, and banannas. We started with a light breakfast everyday so we can eat like pigs all day at the parks.

There is also a convenience store at the Hess Station across the street from Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney. There is a traffic light there, so you don't have to worry about crossing. You can take the Downtown Disney Bus to the second stop for Pleasure Island and West Side - it's directly across the street from the Hess Station.

We are going to POFQ in November.... these things are great to know! I just assumed that we would have to be eating in the food court. My DH doesn't eat breakfast... but I like to have something in the morning....

We stayed at POFQ twice and loved it. Juice boxes and such I would get at the food court in the Food Factory and Floatworks. The larger mik and other items are in the gift shop. Our room came with a fridge last year and we didn't request one -- maybe they are standard now.

It's not expensive, but it is not cheap either! I loved getting my order from gardengrocer. I froze 2 juice boxes every night and took them with us! I liked having fruit and snacks in our room. Highly reccommended!

We are getting there the 22..... does anyone know if they have baby formula I really dont want to have to carry it on the plane down there if I dont have too.....
