Can you slide down with a floaties on? My daughter who is 5 is not a swimmer yet. Can I just catch her at the end of the slide? I was thinking of switching my reservation from CSR to POFQ in Feb. I thought maybe it would be nice to try a different resort since we have stayed at CSR already.

My kids are 8 and 5. Which resort do you think they will like better or maybe it really doesn't matter. How is the food selection at POFQ? If we want to swim at POR, can we take the boat there? How is the transportation coming from the park back to the resort? How is the housekeeping? Thanks for all your help!!

I'm not sure about the floaties down the slide, but you can wait for hre at the end, no problem (and strike a conversation with several other parents also there waiting for the kids going up & down the slide ;)). The food selection is OK, I prefer Pop's food court.

I know you can go to POR's pool, but we never did... unfortunately we were at POFQ during hurricane Jeanne so we did not have a chance to experience the boat service since they closed it and didn't reopen until after we had left.

I haven't stayed at CSR so I can't give you a comparison, but I can tell you I really enjoyed POFQ. The resort is small and quaint and beautiful. Everything is so close. I loved that the buses picked up and dropped off first at POFQ... better chances to get a seat!

Floaties are fine and you can wait at the end of the pool with all the other parents to pick up your child as they get to the end. Or...you could go down yourself every once and a while. They do not allow two at a time so you cannot go with the kid. POFQ is great and the service was very good. The transportation was better than others I have experienced on a stay or tour of other resorts. Give POFQ a try and I think you will love it.

You can use floaties when going down the slide - when we were there in June, I saw alot of young children with the floaties on their arms.

POFQ is my families favorite resort. The food selection is better now that it went through a remodelling. Also, a nice benefit of staying at POFQ is that you can also walk over to POR and eat at their food court or restraunt - so you have alot of choices!

My boys (2, 7 and 12) love the pool at POFQ! A few days during our trip, just for a change, we walked over to the pool at POR. It takes 10 minutes to walk to - we also fished at the fishing pond at POR.

We have stayed at CSR, which we like very much too, but the consensus in my family is that POFQ is the BEST!!!

Have a magical time at Disney!!!

another fan of FQ, and my dd went down the slide with her arm bands on as she doesn't swim very well - she thought it was a brilliant pool.

We split our stay at both last March. We liked POFQ, but liked CSR much better. The pool at CSR is much nicer and my 2 older DD's liked it better. I guess POFQ buildings just reminded me too much of the buildings at the ASMO (just fancier). You can let the kids use floaties. I stood at the bottom for my toddler. The POFQ boat transportation to DD was great and the beignets were great!
