POFQ or CSR for kids?

Hi everybody
I have finally booked our first family vacation onsite at Disney
I have never stayed onsite... but have been probbaly 20 times as a child.
Finally it's time to bring my kids to see the magic.
So .. we have booked CSR for a week.
Our children will be 11 (dd) and 4(ds) when we go.
We love what we have read about CSR.. however we are pretty interested in POFQ (hey the fact that we have narrowed it down to 2 choices deserves a medal )
So DIS'ers ..
Could you tell which of the two you would choose and why?
What initially attracted us to CSR was the rave reviews and independant bus service.
POFQ also appeals due to it's themeing and smaller size.
We will be doing the dining plan if that factors in at all.

I would choose CSR because of the great pool and slide, your kids will love it. Then add in the fact that you don't have to share buses and better food options..

Another vote for CSR! Great pool/side, especially for your DD. CSR also has a playground at the main pool site that would be great for your younger DS. Also, not having to worry about shared buses is a major plus!

Our 5-yo DS loved CSR. He loved the slide at the pool and everything about the resort. He wants to go back and stay in the same room next year!

All our kids enjoyed CSR, and so did we. In addition to the pool, waterslide and playground - there is an arcade in the same area off the playground. The pool also has an outside bar / grill includes chix fingers, good for kids too.
You made a great choice!

And both kids LOVE to swim and would happily do so in any pool. And the playground is a major plus.

Both my kids love CSR! The pool is great - very good slide!
I also like the freedom you get in the Pepper Market. With the set up there, the kids can go together and get their food (they love taking the tickets around), and come back to the table (I always have my eye on them!). But it's nice not to have to have one person find and hold a table while the other piles the food on trays and waits in line to pay. CSR's method is much more user friendly I think. Everyone gets their food, returns to the table to find their drinks waiting for them! Very convenient.

pofq is very quaint and, I would say, romantic. also, if I had small children, it would be good for the pool theming (the tongue of the dragon slide is really cute for LITTLE kids.) and their food court is VERY nice, better than riverside.
but I prefer CSR. their slide is much better for older kids (like me! ), and the pool is biigger, AND you have the option of the 3 quiet pools.
but...pepper market is WAY WAY over priced for out of pocket!!!! you get cHarged a 10% TIP (but I heard if you get it to go, that is not charged.)
however, on the dining plan, boy! do you get your money's worth! ( however, the dessert options are not that great,)
but!... they have the best french fries EVER!!! at the main pool bar, until 6.(as well as burgers, chicken nuggets, etc)
the cabanas are the most convenient location to everything. however, we prefer the casitatas. much prettier.
you know how you find the shortest route to everything, and take that the whole time? DON'T! although the walk along the lake (the promenade) is lovely... walk THROUGH the casitas... esp. at night!!! what pretty fountains, and courtyards, rotundas, etc.

I would go with the POFQ. Much smaller and easier to navigate then CSR.
