POFQ or CBR?

Hi All

Simple question I suppose which do people feel is the best and why??

I'm going to book at the weekend for one or the other but cant decide. Three of us going (son is 3). Been looking at both and read loads of things but cant make up my mind???

Come on guys give me some help. Which do I choose?????

Reasons would be helpful in making up my mind....

We stayed at POFQ and really liked it. We chose it over the other mods due to the small size and theming.

We have stayed at Caribbean Beach 3 times now and are returning in September. It is a nice peaceful resort. Each ''country'' has its own pool and laundry and the walk around the lake is really nice first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee. Food court is OK and the Shutters restaurant is excellent

Depends what you want really.

We're staying at POFQ chosen because of the compact size, was slightly put off by the size and internal bus system at CBR but the theming looks great.

I couldn't decided between these two resorts for our holiday next year.

Read LOADS of reviews and in the end chose POFQ due to the size as I decided that with my two DDs they will have had enough walking around the parks to have to then walk great distances to do anything on the resort.

Maybe when they're older we'll try CBR but then there are so many how on earth do you choose

Thanks so far guys. I first leant towards POFQ but then CBR and now......arrrghhhhh!!!

Errrrrrrr stilll dont know - please keep the reviews coming.

Is the transport really bad at CBR regularly or is this mainly at high seasons and will it be ok September time???

have stayed at both but much prefer POFQ because of it's size & also the boat to DTD. Will the main pool at CBR be open in September as it is undergoing refurbishment. You will enjoy which ever you choose as the are both fantastic. CBR also has a table service restaurant which POFQ doesnt.

Hi!

I've stayed at both - want to stay at POFQ forever and ever now, and would never return to CBR!!! POFQ was lovely and compact, a beautiful place, and a really central location for getting to the parks. Caribbean Beach was so big we wasted our refillable mugs (who wants to walk for 15 mins at 11pm for a drink after all day on your feet?!) and we we felt really alienated and away from everything.

And to top it off my mum and dad saw a snake there (so they claim . . .!!)

POFQ every time for us...we've been going since our 2 girls were 3 & 6, the're 16 & 13 now!
Lovely atmosphere, compact resort and quick to get everywhere. We love taking the boat to DD on an evening.
We all think it's great

We stayed at POFQ last year & loved it. However, we are staying at CBR this year as we decided to try somewhere new. Keep worrying that we've made a mistake, but will find out soon enough.

POFQ!

As others have said the resort is the smallest moderate, so it's never more than 5mins from your room to the pool, food court, bus stop or boat dock.

The busses are shared with POR, but always stop at POFQ first, and at busy times they have a dedicated bus.

Despite being small it never feels busy, so it's very relaxing, great after a day at the parks. The food courts never busy, and they serve Beignets (a kind of New Orleans doughnut) which are exclusive to the resort. The bars quiet (some bars at Disney can be a bit noisy) and has a Jazz musician several times a week which adds the the experience.

The boat to Downtown Disney's brilliant. It's great to be able to have dinner at DTD then take a leisurely boat ride back to your resort. Also at night it's nice to stroll along the river.

The pool was never busy when we've been (other resorts pools are heaving!) and there's a great hot tub, hidden away in a small garden.

Trust me, you wont be dissapointed with POFQ!
