POFQ not so magical so far

WE arived at POFQ last night at about 10:30, no line for check in. WE had 3 rooms reserved. CM got very irritated when we wanted to have a credit card for each room, she wanted us to put down 1 CC for all the rooms and then figure out whose charges are whose on the day we leave. Forget that. 7 days of room charges would have been a huge chore to get through. Then she wanted to charge us rack rates, hey I booked this in March with a AP rate. LUckly I had my info from Dreams unlimited printed out, so she had to agree with the rate I had. My husband and I ended up with a handicap King, but that's OK, the only difference that we notice is the big walk in shower instead of a tub.
It took almost 1 hour to check in! she kept disapearing into the back room all the time for several minutes. Everything she had a problem with was really common sense things and once I suggested the way to do it, she finially agreed it was a better idea.
WE are traveling with our 2 BIL/SIL, we have been raving about POFQ since we have stayed here 3 other times, they were not impressed with the check in mess at all, then one couple goes to their room on the 3rd floor far side of bldg 4 and their key will not work, 3 keys later it is still not working and housekeeping let them in, when we get back from Epcot at 3 today, still not working. Finially got one working, but this is just not right at alll. I hope their grumpys go away now that their key works....
We love the redo and this is still our fav resort, hopefully we can get some magic comming their way soon.....
On the other hand Soaring and FAstpass are the BOMB!!!! LOVE IT!! Even grumpies were impressed with that....

sorry to hear that. I hope it gets better for you. when we stayed there last 4th of july we had such problems with our room when we checked in. they kept saying it was our keys but after awhile they realized it was the door. It was pouring out- you should seen us standing there with all of our luggage. it took quite awhile to finally get it all worked out. the manager on duty was very nice and credited us 50% off one night.

Oh no....I have 3 rooms booked for next Saturday at POFQ! I hope we don't have any problems. I'll be on guard...although all 3 rooms are in my name and I'm only putting down one cc and ONLY allowing charging privileges to myself and DH. I won't clue the others in to this...they've never stayed onsite..so, it'll be fine...what they don't know won't hurt. And all 3 rooms have been paid in full. Keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth check-in!
