POFQ??? (instead of WL)

HI,
I'm offically addicted to this board, at first I was going to stay off resort, but after reading this board I'm going to be staying on site...of course...

After staying in the CBR my last visit, I was very interested in the WL but since we are not planning on spending a lot of time in our room, I've decided to go moderate...for now...is the POFQ nice?? Would a 3 yr old like the resort?

We've stayed at both and definitely prefer WL over POFQ hands down! The room sizes at WL are bigger, the food selection is better and the location is better! But, your 3 year old may like the pool at POFQ better!

Both are nice. Of course one is a moderator compared to a delux so they are not in the same category. We have stayed at both on several occasions. I would take the WL most certainly. But that is not considering the money you will save by staying at the PQFQ. But I would go with the WL if I could afford it. Hope that helps.

Just remembered that you said you did not plan on spending a lot of time in your room. If that also meant you did not plan on spending a lot of time at the resort then go with PQFQ. In my humble view. If you are planning on spending more time at the resort then I would go with the WL.

We just returned from POFQ a week ago. Our kids are 6y0m and 3y9m.

Our 3 year old liked the mardi gras character masks (she called them clowns and clown masks) and she also liked the alligator statues.

The foodcourt was another favorite because it had a TV tuned to the Disney Channel.

She was generally too small for the adult pool (afraid of the slide), and had to wear a life vest at all times. The pool depth is 3'0" - 4'9". She was too "big" (her words) for the baby pool - it wasn't much, a 20 to 25' circle about 12 to 18" deep with one alligator statue.

The one thing about POFQ which I felt was not very good for kids this age was the playground. It was very minimal for a resort this size. Anymore than 4 or 5 kids playing at once and it was too crowded.

The biggest advantage of POFQ over the other moderates or the values is POFQ's small size - even with short legs our daughter could get from place to place fairly quickly with out being tired.
