It's Hot.
It's Humid.
It's Crowded.
Your ice cream/ Dole Whip melts at the very thought of it!
Let's face it, we who brave WDW in July are a hearty bunch....or maybe we're just dang crazy, BUT I love it. How about you. I actually prefer to go in July over any other month. It's like Africa hot! We still do Commando style touring and the kids truck right along. It's just something about those semi -thrill ride seats sticking to your backsides that gets us I guess. Sometimes I like to sling my head side to side and throw sweat out to all my fellow Julyer's out there. Kind of like being in a mosh pit (without the beating). Armpits are soaked, hair is drenched, and there is a certain smell in the air (it's not me...I swear!). Smells like ....victory. I could not resist throwing in an Apocolypse Now quote. It's a man thing I guess.
. I look over to my wife who has consistently yelled for me to slow down and walk slower and she looks slightly melted, but has a smile on her face. The kids who are teens are screaming for more. I just pat her sweaty little hand and tell her to come on! Yes, July is the best WDW time of all. We don't take breaks in the middle of the day. That is for sissies.
We are headed down July 22 to July 31st. Staying at POFQ--my favorite resort. Who else is ready to brave stiffling heat and humidity to get their WDW on?
