Sometimes they know more than Disney Agents and the people that run this sight do a really good job of updating it regularly. Do they get things wrong sometimes, sure they do, as maintenance projects don't always begin on time or end on time, sometimes they are called off completely. Just keep an eye on it and if the pool goes down for sure, they will post it.

Coming strictly from my own experience, if you can't be guaranteed a renovated room, stay away. I am among the very few who didn't care for POR because our room was kind of a dump.

What does this have to do with the kiddie pool construction?? OR POFQ??
OP; I have seen the same information on a few sites not just that one. They all have it closed until Dec. 23rd.

I guess I'm just saying I didn't care for POR and it's soured me from PO-ANYWHERE. That's all.

I have found Andre's site to be 100% more reliable than any phone CM.

Thanks - if there is pool construction, that is a problem! I will need to book another resort, or delay our trip as everything seems sold out for our dates.

I confirmed with Guest Services, who had to call the resort directly, the information posted above is accurate. She said Disney doesn't consider this to be Major construction.

I found talking to different Disney CM's, results in different and inconsistent information. It is a bit frustrating, Disney could improve on this front.
