POFQ--Anyone ever stayed in Building #7 at POFQ?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has stayed in Building #7 at POFQ because
I was thinking of requesting that location because we will be going
between POFQ and POR quiet a bit and thought the walk might not
be as bad compared to being placed in Building #1?

How was the condition of the rooms in Building#7 did they seem worn out
are in newer condition? Thanks

Yes!!! I always request a building FARTHEST from the main buidling/food court. (The opposite from what everyone else seems to demand).

DD18 and I got building 7 and were given an upgrade. Corner room facing the river. So nice and so quiet. It really seemed that there were no other people in the entire place (I know better cause we saw people AND this was Easter week).

And since this is such a small resort, you are not far from anything!

Agree with LindaR. We always request a king room in either building 1 or 7, and almost always get a water view room. Being the farthest from the food court and checkin just seems to make it quieter.

We were in building 7 last Jan., and it was nice, as far as the condition of the room. They were all refurbished a couple of years ago. (2004 or 2005?) We were in a corner room, the side closest to POR. We walked over to POR to eat breakfast at Boatright's one day, and it didn't seem like it was any further to get to POR than it was to get to the FQ food court from our room. We faced the parking lot, but it was fine because we kept needing to run and get stuff out of the car. Also, the landscapiong is so nice, that the view drom the room was nice, even though we faced the parking lot.

We are staying there again this Jan., too, we liked it so much!

Stayed in building 7 in August and room seemed fine, and I didn't feel at a disadvantage staying there as the resort is so compact that it still wasn't far to anything, not even 5 minutes to food court or bus stop. It definately is quieter down there too.

Yes! We stayed in room 7123. When I first heard we were in building 7, I was worried. It turned out to be great. We had a corner room, facing the parking lot. We were pretty close to the bus stop and the walk to the food court wasn't bad at all. Also, we were close to the walkway to POR. When we go back to POFQ, I hope we are in a similar location.

We stayed in Building 7 in Sept and the rooms were fine! We faced the parking lot. It was a short walk to the bus stop and the food court and very peaceful! Enjoy!

It seems that buildings 1 and 7 have a fan club!
