POFQ and POR building preferences

We just booked a last minute trip to the World 9/30-10/2. We're staying 1 night each at POFQ and POR and are wondering if there are any locations that would be great. We have a standard room in both resorts, and unfortunately won't be able to spend much time at either one, but we've never stayed at either so we wanted to try them both out. Since it's only 1 night at each place we don't really care what building we end up in in terms of distance to the bus, main building etc. We'd just really love to get a good feel for the resorts and are wondering if any buildings are in especially nice locations. Of course, it wouldn't hurt us to be close to the bus/food court but since we'll be there such a short time we don't mind walking a bit through the resort to get around. Any suggestions?

Buildings 14 and 15 are good if you're in the Alligator Bayou section of POR. Can't help you with the mansions or FQ, though.

From everything I've read building 5 is a good one for POFQ! That's the one we're going to request in March!! Have fun!!!

Building 5 is THE best building to stay at POFQ. You are close to EVERYTHING.

We stayed in buidling #27 at POR in Feb.05 and it was close to the main building and not that far of a walk to the main pool.

At POFQ bldg 4 is close to food court and bus stop. Bldg 5 is right in middle of things. At POFQ there really isn't a bad location as it is a very small resort and easy to navigate.

PORiverside we like Bldg 15 in the AB section. Can't help with the Mansions.

We have stayed at both AB and the Mansions at POR. You have gotten info on AB so if you want to stay in one of the mansions ask for building #90, Oak Manor.

We have stayed at POFQ as well, and agree with the above info.

At POR, Building 27 in AB was just about perfect ... right in between the main pool and foodcourt. Also, no parking lot views to be had, and the courtyard scenery is just beautiful.

It has been over 10 years since we stayed at POR and it seemed like we had to walk far. We have stayed at POFQ a few times in recent years and it seemed like we never had a bad location and everything seemed close.
