Poem for Surprise Trip

Nothing like the last minute, huh?!?
Anyway, we are going to Disney in Feb. The girls have all been several times. This trip is part of their Christmas. My plan is to wrap their old Minnie ears, autograph books, and magic bands and put a Disney gift card in with them. I can't think of wording that I like. I want to say something about needing new stuff and here is a gift card to get it...(see what I mean with my wording...haha!)

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated....i'm stumped!

This is the one we are working on for our trip in May....not finished, but an outline.

The idea was that it was to the rhythm of Night Before Christmas....and I totally borrowed wording from others on this!


Twas the last day of school for the Stinson crew,
All the homework, alarm clocks, and tests were all through.


And though the kids were totally unaware
The mom and dad hadn’t exactly been fair.


Cuz you see, Mom and Dad had been busy at the house
Busy indeed because of a Mouse!


Mom and dad secretly had been planning the last year with care,
And hoping 4 sets of little ears had not been made aware.


Cuz they mentioned a “mega trip” in the year 2017…
But the kids didn’t know that it was really planned for 2016!


To a "Magical" place full of pixie dust and fun,
Where they’ll play, swim, and spend 2 weeks in the sun!


So in case you don’t know yet...better pack with no delay…
Cuz your mega trip departs on this very Sunday!


Yes, we know that’s only 5 days from now
But it’s a miracle we held the secret until now!


So get your swimsuits, underwear, and all of the like
Cuz we have a date with the Mouse in only 4 more nights!
