Podcast on Harry Potter Not for Pooh sized.

I appreciate the honest review of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on the Podcast. We were planning a trip for September including one day at Universal Islands of Adventure for the sole purpose of Harry Potter. We would be traveling with a one year old and were going to take turns riding FJ. We have no interest in the reconditioned rides. After listening to the Podcast we are rethinking this adventure.

I myself and Pooh sized and if Pete did not make it on the ride I know I won't. It is a shame that they have eliminated many of the people who would come to this attraction. I am honestly grateful to know before I wasted one of our Disney days and $$$ in admission fees only to arrive and be unable to ride the main reason for our visit. My son wanted to experience the wand choosing but since that is a show and not for everyone it would be a gamble.

Shame on Universal for not delivering on what could have been a huge success for them. The hype and anticipation left high expectations for this attraction, maybe they can work out the issues and expand it in the future. But for now our time and money will stay at Disney.

I feel the same as you. We are going to WDW January with my sister and her family and were going to do 2 days at Universal and we are both Pooh-sized. Now we both think we will not be allowed to ride FJ. It seems to me that the whole thing was hyped may too much and that a lot of the managements' decisions haven't been very intelligent. We haven't decided if we will still do the Universal thing or not.

I personally wouldn't mind an extra day or two at Disney!!
