Podcast delayed this week...UPDATE: Recorded 7/17!

Epidemic is a pretty big word.

So far, it's a handful of us who are in pretty close contact and who last week...spent five days at sea where we were together every day.

I'm not sure we're news worthy.

And where do you live that they punish people for being sick?

Where ever it is.......move. Now!

I have taken my own preventative measure. I haven't been outside my house since last Wednesday afternoon. And when John ventures out to "hunter/gather", he's all wrapped up in bubble wrap and sunscreen.

Lol! The though of John wrapped in bubble wrap and slathered in sunscreen cracked me up! Hope you all are improving and will be good as new very soon.

Lol.... I was referring to the fact that cruise ships are notorious for spreading illness and on occasion require decontamination. I've been on two where we were delayed setting sail because the ship needed to be wiped down with Lysol before we could board (not Disney ships). If I recall correctly a few viruses were in the news last year for it.

I am feeling MUCH better.

I'm feeling weak as heck. Walking across the house seems like an endeavor and I have a deep productive cough.

The plague portion seems to have passed. (knock wood)

It was 12:30am when I answered and was feeling a bit silly.

I started a thread asking if anyone else on our cruise and it seems it just might be our little group of podcasters.

We've had this happen before and that's why we cancel shows.

no one wants to infect the whole table and their family.

I am at work, perusing this thread, hoping for you all to get better and drinking my diet soda...I read the last couple of sentences and snorted soda up my nose mid-swallow. I swear I will never drink again while reading a post from Kevin because every time I do, I laugh.

LOL!!! This is a great visual in my head. I'm imagining John walking and "Pop! Pop! Pop!" I love the sound of bubble wrap!!!

We have yet to be on a Disney cruise (only cruise line we've sailed on) where after the cruise someone in our party is not sick. Luckily, we have learned and do most of our WDW vacation BEFORE the cruise now. Our kids still hold the handrail when walking up and down the staircases, "must" be the one to push the buttons on the elevator and actually are polite and hold the door for strangers . . . Germs! . . . Germs! . . . Germs!
