Podcast Cruise 3.0 - 06/24/2012

We are going, booked on PCC 2.0, but when I went to book my brothers room I was told there was a waitlist. I hope to hear from Dreams soon because this has turned into a family trip and I dont want to have to book thier room through Disney to guarentee them being on the boat. My Mom is paying for us all as a retirement party. Anyone know if the wait list is long? I am sitting on pins and needles.

We're hoping to bring our grandson, who will be 9 at that time, with us. Its nice that there will be others for him to hang with while the grownups go play.

Now right now Tiffany still thinks, "boys are annoying" which I am encouraging until she is 22 year old. However, I'm sure they'll be running around the decks us old people aren't allowed on.

Oh my...I feel for you. I don't miss those days (formally from NJ)...we don't get much here, although the day after Christmas we got 14 inches and it was nasty...pretty coming down, but days after it was a mess.....stay inside as much as you can and stay warm...keep thinking how nice it's going to be in June of 2012 when we are all on the Dream basking in the sun !!!

Good heavens !!!! I heard on the news that your area had gone over the norm, but I had no idea you had that much....I made a friend on the last PodCast Cruise, and she lives in your neck of the woods...think I'll send an email and check up on her.

My family is excited about going on the cruise but have told me they don't want to hear about it all the time until it gets much closer (like not until we're crossing the Florida state line in June). But I'm such a Disney nut that I still listen to four podcasts--the Dis Unplugged is my favorite, of course--even though our last trip was over a year ago and our next trip isn't until the cruise. So I appreciate this thread that's filled with others who want to discuss and talk about the cruise between now and the time we get on board. I look forward to meeting everybody and getting to be part of one of the many Disney fan communities.

I wasn't on 2.0 and was able to book as soon as it was announced.

We did the same too - pretty much as soon as it was announced we booked - the June time frame works great for us as its the middle of our winter so a great time for us to escape for a warm holiday somewhere.

So I appreciate this thread that's filled with others who want to discuss and talk about the cruise between now and the time we get on board. I look forward to meeting everybody and getting to be part of one of the many Disney fan communities.

I'm confused, I didn't realise there was any other topic of conversation apart from Disney...?

My DH is the same. One, it's so far away and two, he's totally going along with me to be nice.

He said "I'll just leave the cruise stuff to you. Just tell me when to be places."

I think he'll like it WAY more than he thinks he will......

That was my DD last time...all she wanted to know, was how much she need to pay and when to be there.....she had a BLAST, and this time wants to be more involved....we'll see.

In the meantime, we here on the boards can talk about our plans

I just got exciting news! I had booked Podcast Cruise 3.0 pending the 2011-12 school calendar. I was guessing that 6/22 would be the last day of school but I wasn't 100% sure. Today they released the school calendar and I was right! Now we can definitely go!!!

Our school calendar is never released that early. I always wish it was so I could plan Disney vacations but alas the school board likes to wait. However, since we only have a 160 school calendar there is no chance our school will go into June!

We start school the day after Labor Day and end towards the end of June. June 22nd is pretty early for us to end but June 29th would be extremely late. I didn't think they'd do a half week but ya never know!
