Happy Monday folks!

I got some not-so-good news yesterday...seems I have to have surgery to remove my gall bladder....the doctor is pushing for the beginning of November

I had the same thing happen a few months ago did a scan for my kidney and found that...I just keep avoiding the doctor! But he will catch me sooner than later to have it done. You first!

I just made myself an appt today with the GI doctor for the same thing! Was in the ER last friday night from the pain

Hope everyone has had a good weekend, we've been baking making all sorts of treats for Gav to take into work tomorrow as his birthday was over the weekend.

Just curious, is anyone else having their posts deleted? I remember a time on these boards when people had a sense of humor and joking around was an everyday thing.

I don't post enough to have anything deleted, but in the past chat has been pretty funny with a lot of double entrendres. Last week chatters were bumped pretty quickly. I agree that swearing should be prohibited but the witty innuendo that used to exist in chat really had me at times. A few months ago Pete was in chat late (after 10pm) and it went blue pretty quickly...it was . Comparatively, last week's stuff was very tame.

Now - be honest - who has started packing? I have.

Packing?? I guess I should finish off our final bookings and get together the details and touring plan for this trip!

It's just crazy quiet here. I used to come to the DIS - as a stay at home mom - and have to spend so much time catching up on all of the threads. Now I work full time, and my time on the DIS is very limited. I have no time catching up. As a long time podcast listener and very frequent fan of the podcast boards, it is just soooo quiet.

And happy Monday to you, too. Being not retired, I don't look forward to Mondays as much as I used to

I agree...it is crazy quiet now...everyone told me that the boards would be really busy as the cruise gets closer....seems that the chatter has slowed down ...maybe everyone is just busy...

I think maybe another reason it's much quieter is that quite a few people know each other form the first PCC and other events. So there is not the 'getting to know you' posts as much, plus loads of people seem to be having sneaky trips in the meantime And people are super busy at work, it's probably going to get worse as we closer to Christmas

But it is kind of nice not having 50 million pages spring up over night

I noticed your post was deleted Paul and was sad about it. Not only your post was deleted but several following yours that related to yours.

You are 100% correct in the fact that the best part of coming here was the fun and joking around we use to be able to have. That is all gone now for some reason.

I heard about all the bumping that happened in chat last week, shame there wasn't an actual podcast member there to over see what was happening as from my understanding, it was much, much calmer than the last several chats and if they were there I am sure the bumping would not have occurred.

This is really strange. I just got back from the orthopedist because of problems with my back/feet. I had an MRI done and the results were.... there really isn't a back problem causing my feet to hurt but, oh by the way you have gallstones. Now I need to contact my GP and see what I need to do about that. Looks like it's going to be a lot of people on this cruise with gallbladder problems.

I have started thinking about it, that counts. Actually, yes. I have started putting Disney stuff in the suitcase. But I have not started packing clothes.
My sister is visiting Thanksgiving weekend. She will be sleeping in my packing assembly room. I leave five days after she leaves. I need to get organized!
