But, I was wondering if anyone has or has plans to pre-purchase their wines for dinner ???

If you did it for Podcast Cruise 1.0 - did it work out for you or not?

We haven't done the wine package (I assume that's what you're talking about *Marilee). I'm a wine fan and Phillip is not. However, I usually order a bottle the first night that I know I will enjoy throughout the cruise and the servers take care of it for me, bringing it out each night and filling my glass for dinner. That's a really nice touch!

Busy week ahead while as I get ready to take a week off to attend a conference.

In Exactly Two months from this moment, I will be boarding a plane for Orlando.

Becky - I hope you didn't lose your money Has your bank been able to help you at all.

Wow two months sounds so close

We're still not sure yet what will happen, we've been in touch with our bank who can only tell us where the money went. From that we can contact the bank it went to and see what they can do. We've also called the company and registered our contract so we may get something but it looks like you may only get 5% back. We're just thankful it wasn't all our money and glad we still have time to sort things out. Some people had £10,000 (about $1,500) waiting to be delivered, others are due to fly out in a few days and can't get the money. It's a real shame.

I should have had the ankle wrapped today, but forgot and wore shoes. Tomorrow I will wear clogs so I can keep the ankle wrapped and supported. It is wrapped in ice pack now and feels better. Now, off to the pool for water aerobics since I could not do the after dinner walk.

Hoping it gets better soon. Water aerobics sounds like it will be more gentle.

Val & I did the wine package on PCC 1.0 and thought it worked out pretty well. The biggest problem is that you don't know what you're eating each night so you have to think ahead about which wine to have on a particular day.

Hiya cruising friends! Back from a fabulous time at Food and Wine and the Wine and Dine Half Marathon.

I can easily see why it takes people a full week to appreciate the whole of the food offerings during this festival.

Mickey's Halloween 5K was a hoot. Shouldn't have been quite so dedicated to authenticity with my costume though. 5K in old sandals was hard on my toes.

The half marathon was about what I expected, but not quite as grand as the one in January. I wasn't as quick as I would have liked and placed #6283 overall, but I wasn't there for speed. I was there for the experience. And the extra magic that only Disney has.

Phillip and I both need a break so badly that he gave me the go ahead to toy around with a last minute trip. However, I've decided that we don't need it badly enough to spend $1K on airfare, which is what seems to be the case if we tried to do it one of the next two weekends.

I'm not surprised at that (it's what I expected), but disappointed. We have so few airline choices out of Indy anyway and that's going to get worse with the Southwest/AirTran merger.
