(Plus, we will definitely be IN TOWN this Labor Day weekend, so we will actually see any of you who make it to Indy this year.)

Wow - so will I!!! Not doing the September Disney trip this year (going in October) o I'm also planning on the Indy Meet, should it occur.

I'm thinking of going to the Indy meet as well!

We could really have a solid slate of DIS Meets this year. The DISTour!

Chicago, Hershey, Indy, West Springfield, NYC, and then that place they call WDW!

I like the way you think!:thumbsup2 Chicago is number 1 :).

Yay! I cannot wait for Indy part III

I wish we could swing a trip to the east coast this year!

Sadly I won't be able to go to any mid week Big E get togethers except during the evening because I can't take time off from work then. :(

Depending on when in the summer, we might be able to go.

Great - I hope the timing works out!

I'm listening! :)

That would be great if you and Deb could come!

Times Square - when is it?

We could also do Hershey Park.

another PA family friendly place - Knoebels

The more the merrier!!

Hershey.... we're in! Andrea, let me know if you need help planning. ;)

Awesome Jen!!! I guess the first order of business would be to figure out which dates are good for everyone. Does anyone have a preference? For us, mid-August would probably be best, but if that wasn't good for the majority it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

If we're looking at doing this on the weekend, we might be able to swing a Saturday in August, but I wouldn't know for sure till the end of spring. August for us starts the beginning of 4 days a week of football and cheerleading practices. I haven't been to Hershey Park in YEARS, so I'll try to make whatever date is decided on.

Same here Kim. I'm sure we will be able to work something out for a weekend meet, crowds or not. :thumbsup2

We'll do our best to make it to Hershey. A weekend in August seems like the best bet.

Yeah it is kind of neat. Love the Avenue of the States. I've never seen a line that long for a Maine baked potato. It's crazy.

I was more amazed that there wasn't an even longer line for the lobster roll. $6 for pure lobster. No mayonnaise, no filling, just lobster on a roll.

Mid week would work due to being less crowded but it would shut some people out. That won't happen so a Saturday would most likely work best. We need to save our vacation time for WDW ya know. :worship:

The date will be either Saturday 9/18, 9/25, or 10/2. :yay:

When I mentioned Hershey Park to her the eyes lit up. :cool1:

Mention Jeff's name and the lobster scatter. :rotfl:

I am generally just lurking in this thread as I don't plan on going on the cruise.

That said - Hershey in August is doable for us - just over an hour away.

I will have to pay attention to the planning on this one.

I haven't been here for a while. What is this about a meet in Hershey? I've never been to the Hershey amusement park. And if it is a weekend, that would be much better. Like George said, have to save vacation time for WDW. Hershey is about 2 1/2 hours from me. And August in south central PA, just like Disney. Hot and muggy.

Early to mid August is good for us too. Looks like you have a time frame!!!:woohoo:

Someone explain this Big E thing to me . . . it sounds like fun . . .:rolleyes1
