Not likely Jeff. I'll be in and around the Pentagon most of the time. Good times. :sad2:

With a little luck, the cherry blossoms will be out next weekend when Alicia and Jenny get there. Its a beautiful sight.

Jeff, the Cherry Blossom festival starts on the 26th. :cheer2::cheer2: I love Cherry Blossoms. My absolute favorite flower.:love::love:

With any luck, they'll be blooming. :lovestruc

After the most beautiful first day of spring yesterday, today we have snow flurries!

I'll be pulling for them to bloom in time. Val & I tried to schedule at trip to DC in time for the cherry blossoms several times before we got it right. Our anniversary is April 5th and usually the weekend before/after is OK. But sometimes the weekend before is too early and other years the weekend after is too late. So, its hard to figure. The National Park Service has a page devoted to the cherry blossoms. http://www.nps.gov/cherry/ that usually has a prediction.

Hubby wants to change decks on the ship. He wants a verandah again...... Oh Tracy, check your e-mails.

It may not happen since we need connecting rooms and that limits our choices, but we can try. Or maybe we can bump you to another room if you are taking it. LOL!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am tired from all this outdoor time. I'd gotten used to being a hermit over winter. Happy Spring!!!

Alicia looks like you are gonna be good to see the blossoms. All the trees here in Richmond popped today and DC is usually only a day or two behind us. There is nothing as beautiful as DC during the festival.

Be prepared for lots and lots of crowds, the next two weeks are crazy with the blossoms, festival, spring breaks and Easter. These are not WDW crowds :). People can be rude and pushy. I think Paul said you would be here about a week, if you are here for Easter you need to have Paul check to see if he can get you guys tickets to the Easter Egg roll on the White House grounds. It will be on Easter Monday. Very hard to get tickets but I bet Paul has the right connections ;) It's very unique and a very historic holiday tradition. I also tell everyone who hasn't been to DC in awhile to do not miss the WWII memorial. It is the most beautiful memorial I have ever laid eyes on. I am seriously gonna see if I can get up there while you guys are in the city. If I can get some time, I will call your cell. I still have the number from DATW..

How was the movie George?

Hi Scott. First time for Deb and I at one of the Jordan IMAX's. AIW was really good. The sound system and the butt kickers in the seats blew me away. To continue the day with another first, we ate lunch at Fuddruckers. Pretty good burger.

So I'm taking my daughter and grandson to "How To Train Your Dragon" next Sunday. And Deb is planning for the Twilight movie there on June 30th. I could be spending a little movie time in Reading this year! :goodvibes

Happy Monday folks! :wave2:

Cold and rainy here to start the week but sun is on its way later in the week :goodvibes

Finally got around to doing our taxes - we thought we owed quite a bit and the thought of it was grinding DH down. Turns out we get a small refund :cool1: DH immediately asked if he could get some toys (PS3, Rock Band, a new tuner, etc) :sad2: I said "of course, honey"...he doesn't know the damage I'm going to do next month with Disney shopping :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

cheers,
:flower3:
