Good morning everyone! I wish we could get some of the rain many of you are getting. It's been dry dry dry here. I just had a sucky run on the treadmill- trying to get back in the saddle, so to speak. I had foot surgery last summer and probably babied it a bit too much through the winter. It stinks trying to get BACK into shape after you worked so hard to get there in the first place.

I think DD and I are off to the mall today. She starts middle school this year and needs uniforms. As if middle school alone wasn't bad enough- they're 'forcing' her to wear khaki and to tuck her shirt in (her words).

Afternoon all! Woke up to some nasty thunderstorms. I got to sleep in too! I had to get DD all packed - she has a sleep over with my sister tonight. One nephews' family birthday party tonight, the other has a llama judging with 4H today. They are taking in a rodeo tomorrow. I am working tonight so I will miss all of it. DH is staying for the dinner & cake and coming home. At least he will get some peace & quiet - and it will be too wet outside for him to do any chores.
Now that I have managed to find breakfast, I need to go nap!

I hope to check in again tonight...as long as the storms move on out!

AND - I am very excited for my parents (who won't try a Disney cruise) as they have booked a cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii!!! I am VERY jealous!

The rains out of Indy, missed us to the most part, just a few sprinkles, though it looked like it could pour down most of the day. The storms went just to our East more towards Cincinnati.

Looks like the monster storms have finally passed - yesterday's storms reminded me of the Florida storms in mid-summer while trying to drive I-4.

Beautiful sunshine right now. Headed off to the "Taste of Buffalo" restaurant festival today - over 60 restaurants are participating this year

Too bad tomorrow is weigh-in day .... I guess I'll be having the light & healthy offerings

Good morning, all!

This will start the third day of the ten day Maine International Film Festival. So far, I have seen six interesting and entertaining films. Three, maybe four, on the agenda for today.

I don't mind if it rains while I am in the theater. But I want it to stop for my bike ride back home. That's what happened last night. I had to ride through puddles at 11:30 at night, but at least it was not still raining!
