Good morning folks!
Along the lines of significant others and Disney...
Phillip (my DH) and I married in the fall of 1993. I was a teacher at the time, so we couldn't take our honeymoon until spring break 1994. I had been to WDW 4 times prior to that (twice with my parents, twice with friends), but he had never been. He was the one who decided that was what we should do, so I planned the trip with
AAA (this was pre-DIS) and we stayed at what was then Dixie Landings (POR now).
Long story short, every year after that for about 10 years we would talk about what we wanted to do for our "big" vacation that year and HE would always suggest WDW again. I would go along with it (of course!) because I loved it too. The funny thing was, whenever any of our friends or family would give us the "Why are you going THERE again?" line of questioning, he would always blame ME. "You know how Dodie is - she loves it there. I can't get her to go anywhere else."
Finally, after all of these years (16 and counting) and a DVC purchase (VWL!), he is willing to admit publicly that the trend is at least partially HIS fault.

He and I (and now YOU) know the truth.
