Podcast Cruise 2.0 Discussion Thread 1 of ????

I saw this when I was checking the weather on my Iphone last night. Anna is still down in WDW until Thursday. I hope she is staying dry.

PS - I am missing all the great people I met on the first cruise. Glad to see soo many are returning for the second.

If Anna is in Central Florida....she's not dry.

It has rained for two days.

I'm not complaining as we were desperate for rain, but the temperature is 68 degrees and its WET. It's actually chilly.

It's supposed rain through Thursday and then it's rain and lightning. Woohoo!

I'm glad the weather last week was PERFECT.

Not dry at all. We did the backstage magic tour today and got soaked!! I'm not leaving my room until it stops raining -- or Saturday, whichever comes first

I am sorry it is rain for you. I am sure the weather will be nicer in St Thomas.

I was looking at the weather for this week in the Bahamas also and it looks wet. We were very lucky. I don't think you could ask for nicer weather.

I am spying already!

Unless my parents want to be REALLY generous for my 21st/22nd Birthday present, it's just not gonna happen! (Or i happen to win one )

I might be able to be in Disney around that time, but just listening to the cruise podcast is making me want to go to the point of tears!

I'm bringing my kids (figures...everyone else is leaving theirs at home!), this is a graduation present for my DD. And of course I have to bring my li'l boy, too (DS20). Just going to leave ol' grumpy at home this time.

Question...did anyone else find those fold-down beds in the cabins extremely hard??? I tried lying on one, and it was brutal! Can you ask for extra padding on those things? Or should I bring an eggcrate pad for the beds/bunks?

I am hoping to join up, but I have to talk to Tracy 1st and see if I can move a dummy date booked onboard to this cruise, or if that is a no go. I listened to the cruise podcast and cried in the grocery store, just a little, at the end because I missed out on what sounded like a great time.

Hi Kim! I wish you were still here with me.
It started raining on Sunday around 6:00pm and hasn't stopped. I did laundry and just hung around POR yesterday. Last night Katherine, John, and I went to DTD and had dinner at Portobello Yacht Club. It was very good. After dinner we went to Ghiradelli's for Sundaes. We saw Rob and talked for a while.
Today I went to Epcot for a few hours, and then went back to POR around 2:00. I had dinner at Yachtsman Steak House tonight. I was really good. Tomorrow I hope I can go over to Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom.
It is raining really hard right now. I was thinking of going for a walk but not now. I hope the rain lets up some tomorrow so I can get a few rides in.

Thats a great pic of them!! Too Cute!! We were also at Epcot today, and boy was it wet, it is suppose to be wet until Thursday, the day we go home. At least we had wonderful weather for the cruise! I just wish we could have talked to alot more people, there just wasn't enough time to talk to everyone!! But I am glad we got to meet as many people as we did!! We had a blast! It surpassed our expectations by miles! We are going to Hollywood studios tomorrow and Jason actually wants to see the finale of the American Idol experience? He isn't a fan of AI, but he was impressed with the talent at AIE.

I agree with the above. I wish I had been able to meet and talk to more people, instead of brief chats. I had a huge sinus headache the first three days of the cruise, and so missed out on a lot of daytime activities... I'm looking forward to rectifying that next time.

awwww... thanks. I hope they didn't ruin your dining experience. They get a little antsy when dinner lasts 90 minutes.

I went and bought a bunch of stuff to scrapbook the last podcast cruise! I'm just waiting for DH to burn our photos to a DVD so that I can put them on my computer and begin playing...
