That's my daughter's birthday, too - she'll be turning 20 on the cruise... assuming I bring her... :rolleyes1

Meg?? She can't be that old! I've seen her grow up only in pictures from your TRs, yet this makes me feel old. :confused3

Love the picture. We've only been married 12 years now so we are still newlyweds.

Its funny how many folks say we go well together. We often say that about each other too. Of course it had to be magical since we met at WDW!

I would like to hear the story of how you guys met. :goodvibes

How is she doing? I felt so bad for her when you were talking about her sunburn. I got a ton of color on this trip and I used a whole bottle of SPF 45 sunblock. At least I am ready for a summer at the pool.

She's doing fine now. :goodvibes BTW, It was so nice talking to you on the cruise! I was a little drunk at the farewell party though. sorry.

That darn Teresa and her free drink coupons.:laughing:

She only gave me one but that's all it took! Those drinks were strong!

Alicia....I love the new photos in your signature.

That Paul has one heck of a dashing smile. And...Ooooo...That tropical shirt. ;)

Thanks Aaron ! I just wanted to add any pics I post were taken by Paul. He doesn't allow me to touch the camera.

Love the update to your sig Alicia. I can call him smilie instead of grumpy now. :goodvibes

Thanks George. :)

Hey there all, we've rebooked - gone for a cat 7 this time as we fancied having a balcony, turns out our room is 2 down from Greg and Lois :cool1:

I can't believe how much fun we had, best vacation ever! And I'm so glad we booked the next one too

I thought it was just us that didn't get to meet everyone! We seemed to run into the same people most of the time (which was cool) and I think eating on the earlier dinner seating when most others were on late meant we missed people in the evening. At least we'll have pleny to talk about the next time!

I'm so glad so many are re-booked! And that there are quite a few newbies coming too :goodvibes

So I am debating about stuff. There is plenty of time to waffle right? Part of me would like a "sideways" room. Kim's was cool and seemed so much more spacious. I can sleep through a hurricane, so hallway noise is of no consequence. And a little voice in the back of my head screams: "Find a roommate. Get a Cat 5. Or be like Jamie, get a 4!"

I'm doing some major thinking too Todd. Take the kids, or go with Chris, find a roomie or go solo.

At this point, DH and I will be going together...although, i'm not sure if we'll do any pre or post cruise stuff this time. I'd love to, of course, but it will really depend on finances and China...We might be able to squeak out a few days as we have 3 days of park admission left and i'd love to see the holiday decorations! We may have to do some point rental again! Well...assuming we're able to do some pre or post cruise time...

At this point it's looking like a solo trip, but you never know. I'm probably going to be in the room by myself. I don't want to take a roomie and then find out in October 2010 that Kim and Anna can go. That wouldn't be fair to the roomie or them.

I'm booked in a Cat 11 right now and that's where I'll probably stay based on the amount of time I was in our cabin during this past trip.. I just can't pay for something I won't use that much. When I'm at WDW or a cruise ship I'm just too active. I like to be all over the place so sitting in the cabin isn't somthing I typically do.

When we re-booked on board we were given a certificate to give a friend or family member to get the onboard credit....not the special pricing but the credit. Although it seems the prices listed are the exact prices we paid on board :confused3.

I was wondering if we would be able to offer this certificate to a diser who wasn't on that cruise but will be coming on the second cruise. I know we won't need it for a second cabin.

You didn't seem drunk to me. The boat was really moving the last night and those were some high heels you were wearing. I wouldn't be able to stand in those shoes on dry land.:rotfl:

I booked a sideways room, but I have a feeling if they come out with cat 12 I will probably switch. Like Aaron said I just don't care about the room that much. We were barely ever in the room.

Does Chris want to go?

He had a great time, so yes, I think so. He just doesn't get the whole DIS thing and I'm fine with that. Everyone has their "thing" and this is mine. As you may have seen, he really is more of an observer than a joiner and sometimes people think he isn't having a good time or snooty. Heck, a few times I had to ask him if he was having fun.

He seemed like he was having a good time, he was just soooo quiet!!! We got Emiel to come out of his shell, maybe we can get Chris to come out too!!

Or go all out and get a cat 3 like Tonya had. :lmao: Now that was livin. ::yes::

I prefer a balcony when I cruise but I needed to keep the price down for this trip. It seemed like the only time I was in my cabin was to shower and sleep. The balcony probably would have gone to waste this trip. I booked a cat 10 for next time because it is a bit bigger and has the shelves in the bathroom. Yes, I am paying an extra $94 to have corner shelves in the bathroom. :rotfl: The sideways cabin did feel very spacious. But the single bath was incredibly tiny. I hated the fact that there were no shelves to hold my necessities. Just a tiny shelf above the sink where I put my toothbrush & toothpaste and shampoo & conditioner. I would stay in the sideways cat 11 again if money were really tight without a problem. I just want to be on the boat.
