Can't we just leave all our teenagers back at the port and tell them to fend for themselves a few days?

You are so much nicer than me! I am leaving DD3 with DH for PCC 2.0 so I can hang with everyone. No strings attached.

It's not "nice". It's "can't handle how annoying they would be if I left them behind"

If you aren't there to see how annoying they are, then the only ones they are annoying are each other Actually, DH is okay with it. If he wasn't, I would just make other arrangements. Our intentions are to do the parks all decked out for the holidays with the whole family and then DD (then 4) will go with DH to DH's brother's house for a visit while Morgan (who will be 16 ) will be with me - mostly because if I left her with DH, he would kill her. It really is for her safety.

That was the first time I had played Wonder Quest. There were 13 in our group so we had to break up into two teams, and we were going crazy trying to get the stuff. I laughed so much! One of our group, Chris (Beth from Dreams' husband) wore the lipstick, but instead of lipstick, it was lipstain & he couldn't get it off right away.

I was having so much fun I didn't even notice the other teams. It's too much fun just to be a spectator. Could you imagine if someone filmed all of us playing?

I know I was thinking the same thing!!! Everyone was wrapped up in their own group that no one even knows who was there or who else was playing the game!!! The next day 3 different people came up to us and made some remark about the game and I was like you guys were there? You saw!

I told my DH about how you left your son in WDW with grandma and he thought that was a great idea. I could see him almost considering it.

That's cool. I figured it would be tough with Faith, but we'll just have to find time... there's always the nursery if we want a couple hours of adult time... plus I'm trying to convince my Father and Stepmother to come, so if they are tired, they might be willing to watch her... especially if they don't get a verandeh room (since we are planning on one).

I am still trying to talk my parents into cruising with us...they love to cruise...I think they are on to me...

My inlaws who live in Florida actually went on a RCCL cruise that overlaped with our cruise. (We missed them in Nassau by 2 days) They did not have a good time and I feel so bad that they didn't come with us. I think they want to try Disney next time so they might come with us next time. I will have to wait much longer to bring it up to them. They are definitely not the type to schedule a vacation 18 months ahead of time.

You should just do what we're planning to do and leave the little ones at home. We try to take one adult trip a year and it is totally worth it.

That would be nice, but there is no family to look after our boy's.
This makes getting someone to watch your children when you vacation that much harder to do.
It also just seems wrong to go and do a DCL cruise without them.
They right now are 6 & 11 and loved the cruise...
I love that we are able to experenice all of this with the boy's.
On the next sail date they will be 71/2 almost 8 & 13.
Besides the 11 year old stated the other night he wanted to be back on the ship and the 6 year old told him not possiable we have to fly there first.

I just hope that DS11 takes to the teen club as well as he did to the lab.
On monday he stayed in the lab from 9:30am to 11pm, and I had to drag him out of there, promising he could come back in the morning.
20 minutes later I had a knock on our stateroom door.
It was a counseller from the lab, she had a award for Kenny.
It said for the longest stay ever in the lab on it.
It had the times on it 9:30am-11pm
They gave him this and a ball cap that said Disney Oceaneer Lab.
He was over the moon about this.
DS6 however had a harder time being in his club and truoble being away from his older brother.
I figure on the next cruise I can just have Kenny pick up Johnny from the lab and they can go back to the stateroom and go to bed.

That club was only started to counter the Royal Court of Toddles. (You can hold court and be a member of the club--they are not mutually exclusive.)
