Podcast and itunes

I download the DIS podcasts from itunes and am wondering what the normal delay is for the new shows to be uploaded to itunes. Also, I've noticed that with a couple of the recent episodes the additional description on itunes doesn't seem to match (ie. (from memory) I think 07/29/09 is labeled 07/22/09 in the description). I'm no expert, though, and my main concern is that I do not want to miss an episode! If anyone can enlighten me I'd really appreciate it - TIA!

I don't allow iTunes to manage any of my music and that incluces podcasts. I like pulling it down with an rss reader (I use the Google Reader) and then just dragging it and dropping it onto my iPod via iTunes. If you are using any rss capable browser (and at this point any decent browser is) you can just click the link I put below without using any reader. You can also edit the ID3 tag information to say anything you want.

No problemo. It sounds a lot more complicated than it really is. Basically it is a right click and a mouse drag and you are in. Let me know if you need any step by step instructions.
