Happy Friday Eve!

We are supposed to be cooler today - yeah! a high of 95!

Busy, busy, busy day for me.

Hope everyone has a great day. I doubt I will be able to check in during the day. So if today is like yesterday, I will have pages to read when I get home.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'll try not to post too much ;)

I love stuff like this. Concise and fun. And its even learning! Who'da thunk???

I know! I'm gonna see if the book is available as I think it would make good holiday reading, you can read a bit here and there and don't have a story line to keep up with :thumbsup2

Good Morning Everyone!! Happy Thursday!!

We started out very hot this morning already 80+ at 5AM and very humid.

I don't eat Seafood - however I do  Strawberries. I don't care for most other berries though.

I don't eat fish or seafood either (not an allergy though) Hope it cools down a bit, we're in for a warm weekend but without the humidity :goodvibes

Good Morning Everyone !!! My countdown show 22 weeks from today we will be leaving on a jet plane........

I love seafood...haven't had lobster in a long time....

That brings a song to mind - in fact I have the feeling it will be stuck in my head all afternoon!

Yikes! You start early! Every year for the past 10 or so years, our Christmas cards have been photo cards of us at various places in WDW. This year, I am under a lot of pressure to take a great pic of us somewhere on the boat/Castaway Cay/WDW and order the Christmas cards the minute we come home!

Wow, another early bird! I'm sure her cards are beautiful! Can't believe almost a month until Hershey - we'd better start making some solid plans soon!

Hi Andrea. These are not personal Christmas cards. Her and my sisters have started making cards for sale to little shops around the area. They get together a few times a week after work, make cards, snack, and get silly. Right now they are covering costs and building relationships. They are selling quite a bit at a shop in Ogunquit, ME. The Christmas cards are big sellers with the tourists. :santa:

We probably need to get over to the Hershey thread and talk Friday dinner plans. ::yes::

Is this official?
From Corey?

The graphic is from the logo thread on the DCL board. It is DCL and not DIS or from Corey. I just pasted in some text is all. :)

Good for her, sounds like she has a good time and is profiting from it as well! I know the card she made us was beautiful and I still have it on display.

I was thinking of Red Robin for dinner at Hershey on Friday night, but last night in chat, I think Don said RR wasn't good at all. We don't have a RR around here, so I was thinking it was supposed to be a good place? Oh well, I'm sure there are plenty of other places. I think I have to look at the hotel web site and they may have a list of restaurants in the area.

The Red Robins in my area have good food, but the service is spotty at best. I can ask my BFF (who lives in Hershey) what he would recommend for a bunch of us getting together.

Morning peeps!! :wave2:

Heading into work this morning for the last time this week!! Once I clock (whew...caught that potential typo!!) out this afternoon, I'm off until Tuesday!

Have a good day and stay out of trouble...

Oh and :grouphug: all around...

I don't like food that used to be submerged in water. Or anything that has 'berry' in it. (Unless of course it is a fermented beverage.)

No cranberries for you! Missing out a nice Thanksgiving side dish.

Oh, Tracey, that is way too hot!

I don't eat Seafood

Better check the Narcoossee menu!

great! Song is in my head now, too!

You obviously need a trip to Maine

Unfortunately, we have to cancel Hershey. :sad1:

Awww... that is too bad. Another time.

I can ask my BFF (who lives in Hershey) what he would recommend for a bunch of us getting together.

Does good Pennsylvania Dutch food reach Hershey?

Good morning, everyone.
I think this might be my biggest multi quote!

Happy Thursday folks! :wave2:

I imagine they will have to split venues to accomodate over 700 DISers. We won't fit anywhere as a complete group, except for Castaway Cay of course. Heads up bar anyone? :goodvibes

good times...

hope the deck doesn't collapse with 700 Dis'ers on it! :dance3:

That reminded me I should start making Christmas cards soon :scratchin

 :faint:

300. Not a big milestone, but one none the less.

:cheer2: nicely done! :cheer2:

Sorry to hear Alicia, you & your daughter won't be there :sad2:

I've just been reading this on slate.com - it's an interesting take on the periodic table - I may even get the book :thumbsup2

Is it sad that I know so many people who I could get this book for? :rotfl2: An easy Christmast gift idea :thumbsup2

cheers,
:flower3:

Bec, What a great find - I love reading these kinds of blogs, books, etc

Todd, I remember a high school teacher telling the class that "learning something new every day would keep you young"
While the calendar has said I've aged - I like to think I'm still young at
heart :thumbsup2

Karen, I think it's great that you have friends who would appreciate that kind of gift ;)

I said nothing of profit other than it covers cost. I guess you could call having fun at a hobby together profit. Yeah! :woohoo:

All I know of Red Robin is it's a gourmet burger joint. If Don says it stinks I trust him. :goodvibes

Bring up Google Maps for Comfort Suites then view restaurants. I'll start a listing later today in our Hershey thread for discussion.
