Pocahontas, Mulan, Anastasia - are they there?

Hi all,

My DD is keen on all the disney princesses, and I know we can try to see them in the parade, at the meet and greet and maybe for lunch if we find the spare euros.

But does anyone know if Pocahontas, Mulan or Anastasia are ever around, or if there are any parts of the park themed like their films?

No Pocahontas, no Mulan, and which Anastasia? (as someone was lucky to see Cinderellas stepmother and 2 ugly sisters, one of whom is called Anastasia, near Sleeping Beauty's Castle).

But no, no Russian princess Anastasia.

Nothing themed on any of these 3 either, except for the Pocahontas play village in Frontierland (which is really geared for under-6s and is just like any play area you find in any local park).

I have seen Meeko the character roaming around (haven't managed to nab his autograph yet) and Governor Ratcliffe is often to be seen, but no characters from Mulan or Anastasia.

Thats what Robert said when he was reading over my shoulder! He reckons Don Bluth's 'scary animation style' is all over that film (His words, not mine!)....

No, never saw anything from these films at DLRP.

haha He was a former Disney animator too! very weird subject for a cartoon but nice songs-bit like all dogs go to heaven, i love that film but it makes me cry!

I think Mulin only comes out for the Chinese New Year, they should have the alternate princesses out too or should I say heroines, whilst the princesses are beautiful the ones they tend to forget have more um...spirit (I was going to say b@lls )

That film scarred Robert for life....!! Seriously, mention it and he goes into a bit of a rant about how it's the scariest kids film ever!!

Thanks for that - wasn't sure if Anastasia was Disney but a google search suggested it was. Oh well. I do like that film, though I've only ever seen half of it as our copy conks out. I think Mulan is a great heroine, and DD looks too cute in her Mulan outfit. I;m sure we'll head to the Pocahontas play park thing and live in hope of see her somewhere.
