Is there anywhere we can meet Pocahantas at the Disneyland Resort? My daughter has met every princess but pocahantas, and she is one of our favorites. Thanks

We've found her strolling along the walkway by the ROA.

Check with guest services to see if they know if she'll be out.

She's not one of the more common princesses to be seen, so I would do as Geemo suggested and ask at Guest Services if she'll be out in the parks. Personally, I have not seen her at a character meet and greet location in years at DLR (she's featured in Mickey and the Magical Map, but those characters don't meet guests afterwards).

Has anyone ever put in a request for a specific non-regular character?

I was thinking, if you're going to be there for a few days, is there a way to place a request for one of your up coming days?

We've always ran into enough that it hasn't been an issue.

You could always try making a request, but it's going to depend on whether they have someone trained to be that character (especially an issue if it's a "face"-character), if they have the character's costume ready, if they have someone that could be scheduled for that character, etc. I think, overall, it's unlikely that they'd be able to make a non-regular character appear, but if they get enough requests then that character might get put back into the rotation.

I understand what you mean about "face" characters. Pocahontas from one of our trips.

I've been to DLR about a dozen times and I've only seen Pocahantas once, around 2009. She was behind BTMRR, near the entrance to the BBQ.

ive been a lot over the past 2 years and other than the magical map i dont know that ive ever seen here out and about. Maybe during halloween but thats it.

I don't know if this helps you, but Pocahontas and Meeko meet and greet in front of a very festive backdrop at Disney's Family Thanksgiving Feast held on Thanksgiving Day in the Disneyland Hotel. Our family has been doing this meal (seatings run from 12-6 p.m.) for the last four years and we've seen them every year. The Feast is quite a splurge at about $73 for adults and cheaper for kids (AP discounts accepted), but it's the only place and time I know that Pocahontas is sure to appear. Meeko, on the other hand, can almost always be found at the Storyteller's Cafe character breakfast.

I'd also add that Pocahontas at the Thanksgiving Feast is dressed in a sleeveless single strap dress, with her necklace and moccasins.

Pocahontas is one of our favorites as well. I'll ask at Guest Services once we're in the park. But honestly, I have a feeling we're only going to be seeing her from afar and in the show.

This is where we saw her once in 2012. She was walking around admiring all the rock formations and plants. It wasn't very crowded because it was a weekday in late September. She saw us and stopped to talk to my daughter about the purple shirt she was wearing and how it was one of her favorite colors. She asked if we had seen Meeko and then pranced off while continuing to look for him. It is one of our favorite Disney memories.

We met her once near Rancho del Zocalo a looooong time ago and she was out during the "Long Lost Friends" events when they did Limited Time Magic:

Halloween 2013 we kept running around like crazy at the Princess Meet at the party trying to catch her. The CMs there told me that she's only appearing at Special Events like the Halloween party or Long Lost Friends weekends.

It was totally worth the effort though. We missed her the first night by 6 groups and the CM took a drawing I had done to sign because of that. She insisted on coming over to chat and not only signed, but personalized the autograph to me. Asked for my name twice because she had just learned how to write and wanted to make sure she got everything correctly. It was so sweet and magical, I almost burst into tears.

The next night we ran to the princess line first. When we were at the front we were told Pocahontas would be coming out in 30 minutes, we could step aside and wait if we wanted. Yes, we wanted. Shortly after that wait a CM came out from backstage asking: "Where is the lady waiting for Pocahontas?" Not what you want to hear in this situation. Turned out Pocahontas was running late and would only make it for her next set. They told us seeing we had already been through the line just come straight to the front, the CMs would let us in.

An hour later - we actually left another character line - no Pocahontas. :( They gave us a time for the next set. We lingered around and really at the time they gave us two other princesses came out. No Pocahontas. I was on the verge of throwing the towel when she came rushing in.

The CMs did let us in as promised. Pocahontas recognized me from the night before right away and gave me a great big hug. We must have spent almost 10 minutes with her. It look

Thanks for all the answers, don't think we will be making it for the thanksgiving feast. I guess we will have to settle for seeing her in the show.
