Has anyone seen Pocahantas lately? We saw her when we were there in March last year and I am hoping to see her again this year (June!) since that's all DD has been talking about!

We haven't seen her since last spring either!! Sorry I'm not much help! Just bumping for you.

Andrea

Thanks for the bump. :) We saw her last year around the Golden Horseshoe area, she just came out of nowhere and luckily returned long enough for us to get an autograph and photo! My 4 yr. old really wants to see her again this year.

She was at the Princess Fantasy Faire when we went in February. We just missed her for pictures, as we had just had pictures with Mulan and then they switched, but she was there!!

I've only ever seen her at DW at Conservation STation with Meeko and Rafiki. I do miss the other characters here. It seems like they always have the same old ones and one thing I like about DW is they seem to have so many more. I wonder why they don't get more? We have been lucky to see Mulan at both places as well as Jasmine and Aladin but never Pochahontas.

I hope we see here when we go in July as that is what my daughter is dressing as for halloween! :)

We also saw her at the Princess Fantasy Faire in February. My girls thought she was the prettiest princess.

We got pictures with her at the Princess Fantasy Faire in October. It sounds like that's your best chance at catching her.

We aren't fully decided on doing Princess Fantasy Faire, I've heard it takes several hours...?! But seeing as my DD is obsessed w/ the Princesses, we might have too! We did Ariel's Grotto dining last year so we were going to do a different one this year or else we could knock them all out at once, lol.

Yes I saw Pochantas at the Princess Fantasy Faire as well and waited in a long line that took at least an hour. The princesses are on a rotation so you aren't guaranteed to see her. When I first joined the line, Belle and Mulan were there, but by the time I got to the greeting, it was Cinderella, Jasmine and Pochantas.

I think the Princess Fantasy Faire is great for young princesses. Definitely spend some time there. Watch the cornation ceremony and do the arts/crafts. I would skip the beauty section because you can go to Club Libby Liu instead.

We were there 3/4 - 3/9 and did Princess Fair at opening on Friday March 9.

The area was to open at 10:00 but it was about 10:15 when they dropped the rope and lined us up in the queue to meet the princesses. We were about 15th in line and about 10 minutes later it was out turn. We met Jasmine, Cinderella and Pocanontos. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Belle rotated in after about 45 minutes.

We went to the stage floor about 15 minutes before story time and got to get quick pictures with Sleeping Beauty and Belle as they walked by but the pretty well make a straight line for backstage and will not sign books, just a fast wave and quick photo as they walk by.

Sleeping Beauty then came out for storytime, but right after she went backstage and there was no time for photos or autographs.

Our preference is the old way where you may see one princess around the castle throughout the day and line up for 10 minutes to get a photo and autograph. To wait in a full line up for over an hour to meet 3 princesses by chance is alittle extreme, especially if you little pricess ( daughter) has her heart set on meeting one specific princess and she rotates out of the group just before your turn.

This is exactly the complaint I've heard/read over and over! A lot of people are hoping they will go back to the old way once YOAMD is over. It was much more "magical" to meet the princesses around the castle IMHO.

This is also why we are debating to even do it, lest DD get her hopes up and then get disappointed. :(
