PO-Riverside or OKW with Dining Plan (What would you do?)

We currently have a bounceback offer for PO-Riverside (3 rooms) for this coming December. We are planning to use the dining plan and it is attached to our current reservations. We love the PO resorts and stay there frequently. We will be staying in a pool view room and will be fairly close to both transportation the resort center.

We have an opportunity to rent points at OKW for a two bedroom with a substantial savings. We love the look of the resort and had already planned to eat at Olivia's on our first night. The idea of having a washer/dryer for use during the week trip, free parking, and a desire to stay somewhere different (we are taking a PO Riverside trip in March for Mardi Gras) has factored into the discussion.

I am concerned about the long distances from the rooms at OKW to do refillable mugs and/or snack credit breakfasts with our large group. Will this be a problem? We have tried to weigh out the pros and cons of each and have decided to let our good friends on the DIS Boards give us their advice on what would be the better choice. Any help would be appreciated.

If you stay at OKW, you'll also have a full kitchen, oven, stove top, microwave oven, full refrigerator with freezer and ice maker. Snack credits and counter service are very limited at OKW since in Dec you will probably only have Goods to Go open and it is really open. There is no food court, only the counter service to purchase and you eat at a picnic table. Or you eat in your villa and make your meal there.
