We are staying at PO-Alligator Bayou section and I have a few questions.

1. I read that the rooms at POR have refriges. Do the rooms at POAB have them also?

2. Are there or not elevators in the resorts? I read that they do not have elevators but a CM at ressies told us they do. Which is it?

3. Will a 9yr old be able to sleep on the trundle bed?

This is our first time staying at this resort. The pictures look awesome. I just want to be prepared.
Thanks for all your help...

Yes the rooms in AB have fridges. The AB section does not have elevators Magnolia Bend (mansions) have elevators. Sorry can't answer about the trundle bed we've never used it.

I think the trundle bed should be fine for your 9 y/o. Check here for picture of it opened.

HTH.

We've stayed there in building 14 (closest to food court) and really enjoyed the location. We did stay in a corner room, facing river, on ground floor.

Apparently the trundle bed is 54", so it depends on the size of your child. I think they are recommended for kids ages 3-9.

I have a son who will be 9 in March and he is on the small side it seems and he is about 53 lbs and 52", so he would fit, but I know alot of his 8 year old friends would not. (here is my disclaimer...I haven't actually seen the trundle beds, this is just the info I got off the various websites.) We are staying at POR for the first time in about 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone for your input. I am glad about the fridge. We were going to bring our small one down but no need now. Thanks for the link to the website. Checked it out and think we will be OK with the bed. Thanks again.

Just wanted to let you know that on a past trip to POR, my brother who is over 6 feet and was 20-something at the time slept on the trundle all but one of the night we were there with no problems. I got to sleep on it the other night and it was fine...I just didn't care being so low to the floor. HTH
