And I feel like I've come home again. How I have missed having all of you in one place. Facebook just isn't quite the same.

I am sitting in Chipotle waiting for my oldest to be done at play practice. The library closed at 8:00. the theater is 45 min from home so I generally just stay in town but the last hour is boring!

4's - Sorry I can't help on the computer stuff. I got a new Macbook and now I am a complete computer idiot. But it looks pretty and that's what really counts.

Speaking of t-shirts....we wanted to make a girly shirt for DH's squadron (for the wives, not the guys ) and they are the Red Knights. Do you think a shirt with "Knight Riders" is too below board??

We love going up there. If you make it, make sure to check out Lori's soap shop. She has the best soaps. You can get them with sponges 'built' in. Lots of great scents. She has both goats milk and olive oil soaps. I'm partial to the goats milk.
Also, stop in at Hellas bakery. There are 3 of them, but go to the main one. I think it's a block down from Lori's. Plus at the end of the street on the right near the little aquarium is a great spice shop. I highly recommend the espresso steak seasoning. Awesome stuff!

I put all this in my phone so if we do go I will definately be checking them out! Thanks.. Wow I don't check in all day and look what happens..

You all know how much the old thread/group meant to me. It saved my sanity (what sanity I had ) and my life at a very difficult time in my life.

UPDATE:

For those of you who aren't on facebook....I am now out and proud, divorced, clean and sober, happy, depression is under control, and I'm in love. Amazing all things considered! If I could do it, anyone can!

Our family home is on the market and finances suck, but I've made at this far and will clear the final hurdles!

Caro, I can't remember if I ever got back to you about all the GF information you gave me for DD11. I really appreciated it. We did GF with her for about 2 months and there was no change. After a whole lot of tests and trial and error we determined that the stomach issues were actually anxiety and stress related.

While I'm glad to hear that your DD11 doesn't need to go GF, I'm sorry to hear that it anxiety and stress related. She's much too young to have such worries. I will say I often wonder how much of Kathryn's is stress and anxiety related also. She still has occasional stomach problems, but can't really explain HOW it hurts, just that it hurts.

I hate insomnia.

Morning. First day of school in our house. The girl packed her own lunch. She's getting too big. She and I also had "the talk" last weekend because she's going to have to wear camisoles this year.

For those of you not on Facebook, we've had a rough couple of years. The boy's illness got worse and we ended up taking almost all of his food away. This resulted in a lot of psychological issues for him as well. The good news is that things have been getting progressively better and we've been able to add many foods back so that he's off of the special formula he had to drink (puke juice). He's been in remission now officially for over a year and we're taking a break from all the surgeries for the next year (he's had a bunch in the last two years). We're very happy with where he is now.

Both kids are growing like weeds.
