PMSers Unite!

I just love the name "bigmerle".

Thanks!

Everyone from NC to Maine :headache:

Lara, Scrappy, Teva... they will be hit the hardest I believe. Then there are a few that are a little further inland that still need to beware... Pixie, Merle, Auntie, Myst, Tig....

Who am I forgetting people?!?!?!

I am just in the western edge of the Tropical Storm Warning area. However a coworker told me the Europeans are tracking it with the eye to the West of us which means we'd be in deep doo doo! :scared1: The worst winds are on the Eastern edge.

But I have a buttload of water. :thumbsup2

We're bracing. I just noticed that we are now in the "extreme" part of the storm surge. I have a couple of hills between me and the Bay, so I can't imagine I'll get surge. Of course, my husband showed me a map of "worst case scenarios" yesterday where my neighborhood was just GONE from surge. We're a peninsula that sticks out into the Bay.

I think you need a boat!

Myst is in NYC and they are predicted to get hit hard so add her to the list.

Merle and MM are in the DC area-- not sure how bad they are expected to get it. Lovemygoofy is there too I think so keep her in your thoughts.
Shuggie is here near me.

My sister is to the West of DC and is in the same Tropical Storm zone we are.

We have decided not to evacuate. But I now have, besides my 89 yr old mother who lives with us, our two dogs, my one son, his wife, granddaughter, their two giant labs, and my other son's ex-girlfriend's mother and her son staying with us.

Plus my other daughter-in-law (who did evacuate) is due to have my newest grandson in two weeks and is now 30% effaced and 1cm dilated.

Oh Teva!~~ :hug::hug:

Did Auntie Im evacuate?

Good morning all! I'm on the south shore of Long Island, so the storm will be bothering me too. I'm hoping she goes away.

Too many of us affected.
I knew it was bad when all the insurance companies demanded we don't sell anymore insurance. I have only seen this after 09/11

Either or. ;)

Okay. Describe yourself in a sentence.

I am a mix of fun, help, hope, laughter and plain pure mean as a rattlesnakes bite when someone threatens my people. I find it balances me. :goodvibes

NEXT!

I'm kinda boring :confused3

:scared1: I hope they know what to do for a home birth! Extra prayers that the baby stays right where it is for a few more days.

Weather Channel just said that Irene is loosing power and will probably be a Cat. 1 when it gets here. That is WAY better than the Cat 3 they were saying to prepare for!! Let's hope no one pisses her off between now and then.

I heard that too. I'm hoping! Stay safe everyone.

As a veteran of numerous hurricanes, hang in there to those who may be affected by Irene. They aren't fun to go through, but if you are prepared you'll get through it ok. Cash is one of the most important things (and often overlooked)!!!!!

Those big barometric pressure changes tend to bring those babies sooner than later. Stay safe, Teva and prayers for your DIL and that baby!

I don't think it has ever been a secret!

:rotfl: I'll behave so long as you don't throw that thing at me!

A-ha! So, Tig. Despite your claims to the contrary, you yourself have a relationship with a woman who isn't a 'Hormonal basketcase' AND coincidentally a great toaster.

The prosecution rests.

Well, prosecutor, who's to say that 'hormonal basketcase' and normal hormonal are mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive?

Do you happen to have a partridge in a pear tree? :confused3

What is it with chicken this week? First Caro and now us. Yesterday I told Danny to put the lasagna in the fridge and put the chicken back in the freezer( a few bags had fallen out). I go to get the lasagna to cook and find the chicken in the fridge and the lasagna in the freezer. What can you do I'm sure it would be frowned upon if I put Daniel in the freezer.:rolleyes1

I guess I need to get the crock pot out.

No, I can't ay it got worse, just extremely annoying. I think DH got tired of me saying, 'oh, there it is again!' numerous times a night :rolleyes1 and decided I needed to go see our doctor. If the doctor tomorrow says it's a floater, then I guess I'll just have to live with it.
I have a floater--it gets wose when I'm super tired or stressed. I hope yours is nothing.:flower3:

Crap. Can't scroll on my iPad....

Scrappy stay safe. If you walked to get that cupcake I bet it cancels out the calories. We went to the state fair today. Let's just say I had some sugar.:scared1:

I am sure they would have to take back the toaster. Speaking of which, I need a new toaster. Do ya think.....nah.;)

Glittery bras....well at least I know who you are now.:lmao:

Mimi, I like brownies so you are in. I have to eat them today though because tomorrow I have to go back to no sugar.

My husband is going on an instructor flight on sat. My MIL got it for him for his birthday. It was on groupon but still too expensive for me. So I called her and suggested she give it to him for his birthday. Win win all around. Easy gift for her(she hates shopping) and he got something really fun. I'm excited for him. I might go along to take pics.

We have a cruise coming up in Jan. Got our second price drop today!
Careful with those flight lessons! Flying is an expensive habit. DH used to fly quite a bit. Then we decided we want the kids to go to college. Ok I decided;).
But I have a buttload of water. :thumbsup2

.
How much, exactly, is a buttload anyway? My butt's pretty big....:rolleyes1

I bought 3 bottles this morning :teeth:
What are you gonna do tomorrow?

I think I have a headache!
You need to get Kelly to share the wine. You'll forget about the headache soon enough.

Yikes! Stay safe!

The bras are glittered and the girls are all painted and gone. Everything on my front porch is blue and black.

You all stay safe in the big blow.

Well, prosecutor, who's to say that 'hormonal basketcase' and normal hormonal are mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive?
I am playing up to the jury who all seem to be drunk on wine so your fancy words won't work here.

But I won't stand here while you infer and/or imply on Women's Equality Day that perhaps Tigs GF could be both normal AND a basket case. You're out of order! This whole thread's out of order!!!

Oh, and on the other topic, I have a floater that makes it look like a little bug is crawling across the ceiling out the corner of my eyes. Once I start to track it, it picks up speed.

We need to get cash out in the morning and put a few more things away in the backyard. After that we are as ready as we'll ever be. Got the booze tonight too. :thumbsup2 I think there are many people having hurricane parties. That store was packed! :rotfl:

I am so far behind and lost on the thread already. :confused3 Hope everyone in the path is ready and stays safe. Hope everyone else is doing as well as they can be. :grouphug:
