Just a quick drive by posting from me. Jake went to bed a little while ago and I promised myself that I would just get online for a little while and would still go to bed early. I will keep the promise!

We're having fun at WDW! We went to Blizzard Beach today, which means that I'm exhausted, my legs are sore, and I'm wondering how single moms get sunscreen on their backs. Tomorrow is AM extra magic hours at MGM so Jake can ride on Rock N Rollercoaster again. He was very happy that he was 48". Everest was great! We never waited for more than 10 minutes during the evening extra magic hours. Much better than the 2 1/2 hour wait that my DD and I had during the CM preview in January!

I'm going to do a quick scan of the boards and look at my e-mail and see if my family gets on IM. It seems that they all have a life...

Hmmm, my DH signed onto IM, right before I was going to log off the comptuer and collapse into bed. I IMed him and he didn't respond. How many minutes should I wait before I log off? I'm thinking 5 minutes should be enough. I'll go to the bathroom and if he hasn't responded he's SOL.

I'm back from vacation! Had fun and am so tired-both from being so busy and from not enough sleep. Now I want a vacation to recover from the vacation, but as you can imagine, that isn't going to happen.

I met PhD and she's a real person! If I figure out my new camera/memory card I'll post a pic. She has a pic of us all so maybe she can post that when she gets home. The weather was beautiful, albeit HOT until the last morning when it rained.

I never nap!!!

I'm figuring out what to make for dinner group on Saturday night, reading the comics that I missed, giving the pets attention (they all missed me and have been all over me), doing some kitchen clean-up (the house looks good, but the kitchen need a little attention) and going through the mail.

Like I mentioned, the weather was HOT. That really drained my energy. We tried to hit the parks first thing in the morning to avoid crowds. It wasn't real busy, but of course was busier in the afternoons and since we like to repeat our favorite rides (and they are the more popular rides) we like to get their early to ride several times).

Jake glowed when we went to MGM the first day and was measured for RnR and he measured tall enough. We rode in the front seat the first time (hehehe) and he liked it. He didn't want to ride again right away, but did a little while later. We stayed at MGM a few hours and then headed to AK for the evening extra magic hours. We were able to ride Everest 4 times with no more than a 10 minute wait each time. It was great and I really enjoyed it a lot (I'd ridden in January for the CM preview).

Jake is a daredevil and will ride any and everything.

On Friday we went to Blizzard Beach and when getting on one of the double rafts it started to take off and I had to hop on fast and scraped the top of my foot. It didn't look like a bad scraped (hardly bled--just really an abrasion), but it was on the top of my foot where the sandal was and it ended up getting real sore. I couldn't wear shoes and could only wear one pair of sandals. I could tell that it was getting infected (got red and puffy in the surrounding area) and it really hurt to walk or even ride rides and I almost went to the dr, but it did stabilize just before I did go to the dr and was improved a lot by yesterday. Not fun to have a problem like that, though, on a trip to WDW! I was scared to go to the dr because I knew the dr would tell me to stay off of it for a day. Yeah, right!

I didn't get to ride ToT my normal oodles of times, but did ride enough to keep me happy until my next trip, whenever that might be. Maybe we rode 8-10 times. My record for one trip is 23 in January when my DD and I were there.
