I had fun watching Survivor tonight. I've turned into such a TV lush.

Then I tried to win an Ebay auction for some Corelle dishes that I've been wanting, but someone wanted them more than I wanted them, so no dishes for now. Hmmm, I wonder if there is a Corelle outlet in Orlando. I've checked our outlets, but they don't have that pattern. I'll have to do some checking since I could probably get them for cheaper in an outlet. Worth a phone call at least.

I forgot if I mentioned this earlier or not, but I think my DH has the crappy virus that I've been fighting. The funny thing is that you'd think that he's ready to die from it. And no, he doesn't appear to be any sicker than I've been for the past week. I've lost enough weight that my pants are almost falling off me. Mind you, I can afford to lose the weight, but I'll probably gain it back when I'm feeling better.

I should go to bed soon. Yawn!

Sorry about the dishes. I can't do Ebay anymore. I get on there and when someone outbids me I tend to take it personally. Which causes me to becomes extremely po'd, which in turn means I wind up paying alot more than the items worth! I did make quite a few sellers quite happy though.

My DH sneezes and he has to go bed for three days. They're pathetic aren't they?

Have to get ready for work. Besides DH is sitting behind me making lewd comments. Talk to you later.

I know what you mean about bidding more than you want to bid on ebay. I did that by a couple of dollars, especially since my sister was Iming me, watching my progress. Sibling pressure didn't help. She's gotten a couple of sets of the same dishes a couple weeks ago from the same seller, so the pressure was on.

Actually, I could tell that another buyer wanted them, so I bed a couple dollars more per set, figuring that they would then outbid me, which they did (they really wanted them), but I would have been happy paying what I bid, too.

Funny about you DH making lewd comments.

Just a quick drive-by to show off my new car--this is the exact model, same color and everything. Paid @ $300 under invoice, which after all my research I think is good--but who knows, we still probably got screwed.

Congrats on the new car. I really like our Honda, even if it is a mini van. It is a NICE mini van.

OH my, I know what you mean about ebay. I get so fed up with it. I swear I have a stalker. I know some people get luck and get things on the 1st bid, no one else bids. Not me. Almost every time. Often at the last min (after having the high bid for 3 days.) Now I admit I have stollen things at the last min also, but normally just to bother some other bidder who "stole" it from me.

I often think that if we all get together and make a deal, wait our turns it would all be fine. (this one is yours, no one else bid, then that one is mine, the next one can be yours.) Much of the stuff I am looking for is retired american girl stuff and there seems to be an endless supply of it. (mostly from people who live near the outlet in Wisconson.)

Anna had her dental work done today. It went ok and the Doc is very skilled and very fast. Let's just say the best news is she doesn't remember any of it. She woke up with about 15 min left and YELLED and screamed (with her mouth clampled open, a difficult task.) Either way it is over with. We have more to do on the left side of her mouth, but not until June and she didn't fuss when I told her she will have to go back. It was werid though, like having a drunk 5 year old.

Oh, today I told Jake about the WDW trip! He was excited for sure. His first question was if he could bring someone...wanted to bring his 12yo brother, which I thought was very sweet. They are very close and Jake will miss him a lot. But the answer was still no. Tomorrow I'll tell more about the scavenger clues--that was a cute idea even though I think I had the most fun.

I'm off to bed now, though. My head hurts and I want sleep!
