Merle, I think my internist schedules physicals every day, but probably not many a day. I took a Wednesday appt, but I could have had the same time that week on a Monday or Tuesday. I could have had the week before, but it was spring break. That's the week that we're probably not going to Florida, but I wasn't going to schedule an appt just in case our luck changes (and you know it would if I scheduled the appt).

DM3, good luck at the dentist. I was so surprised to go for my last checkup and not need any major dental work. Or not that the dentist noticed.

Last night when my DH and I were watching a Viagra commercial, he wondered what would happen if someone took the blue pill before going to work and then "it" lasted for 4 hours like the commercial warns about. He guessed that someone would "call into work stiff". Get it, call into work sick, for you blonde people...

Raggafragger grumble $*^*%&$*&(!

So I have the brakes done yesterday, pick it up and go home. We go out for dinner last night, drove a few miles and when we got there the brakes were smoking!
So, now today I have to bring it back to the garage and have them check/fix them. This is NOT what I needed to do this morning.

WAH!

Of course this just frustrates me more because we could be going down in the new car....but nooooooo.

I have no idea. I'm going to call the garage as soon as they open. That's what I thought that something was just burning off but DH said no. I do know that it wasn't smoking (that I saw) after we got home.

I just don't need this right now. I am sooo not ready to go, yet here I am Dising! LOL

Well, in my defense I am making my lists so I guess I'm doing something......

Son of a Biscuit Eater, 4's, you don't need this today! Hopefully it's just a coating on the brakes, but I've never had that happen. Things will work out, though, and you'll be on your way soon!

Zach had about 4 boys sleep over last night and they were noisy late and noisy early. He woke me up during the night, asking for fans. I told him where to look, but didn't think to tell him to open the vents in the basement that we keep closed. Normally it would be way too cold with open vents when the a/c is on, but I guess not with active teenage boys. I have too much on my mind and any time I wake up I think about stuff and can't get back to sleep, so I did not get much sleep last night.

I need to make out a Costco list so I can go today when I am near the good Costso.

Do you have swollen glands and sore throat, too? It's been over a week since I got whatever virus I had and I'm still real tired. Fine if I'm puttering around the house, but yesterday I did an errand and was lifting a few bags into the trunk and was exhausted.

My glands in my neck are still swollen and I don't know if I should call the dr. It's not that I'm worried about the glands as much as I wonder what's causing it since they were swollen the day before I got sick and are hanging on. I have all the symptoms of mono, which I've never had, except I'm getting over it too fast. BUT, if it's a light case I'd kind of like to know. And if it's not that, I would like to know. Or do I? Of course with my dr, it would probably be a week before they could get me in for a sick visit.

Hopefully it's just that viral thing you're talking about.
