Pie sounds great. I'd like a piece, please. Maybe even a whole pie. What kind is it? Not that I'm picky, mind you.

Zach walked in a few minutes ago after babysitting at the neighbor's house with a big grin on his face. Watched their 5 and 8yo's for 3 hours and got $30. The 8yo wasn't feeling well so she didn't pick on her brother like she usually does. Not a bad deal, huh?

Ash, why the headache? Did you do anything fun to cause it or do you get them for nothing like I do?

Ummmmmm, pie! Make mine Key Lime please. Or even chocolate cream pie.

This is what you do if you run out of duct tape.

I just went back to look at a photo essay I posted months ago over on the Theme Parks Board, just cause I enjoy the subject matter: :thumbsup2

And what did your DD think about your DH posing for the pics? :rotfl2: My kids might be ok at WDW, but I's amazed at the things that can embarrass them, which of course is a great sport. :teeth:

I had a funny thing happen to me at the pool today. It wasn't crowded and I was sitting on a pool lounge chair, watching Jake. His stuff was on a chair to my right. Most of the other chairs were empty and someone came and put their things on the chair right next to mine and put their big pool bag on the ground to my right between our two chairs. Literally a few inches from my feet, wedged between the two chairs. Then she left and went into the pool. Why she didn't just put her bag on her chair I couldn't figure out (or go to a chair with some space around it...) You know how the chairs can be real close together at the pool? Mine and Jake's were a couple inches apart, so no stepping between them to get out, so to get out she expected me to step over her big bag. When I needed to get up tell Jake something, I scooted her chair over, and scootched the bag over, too (with my foot since I didn't want her to think I was touching it--it obviously had her purse in it on top of the bag  ). And no, I didn't kick it, :rotfl: but I didn't want to step on the thing so thought making a path for myself would be the better option. I actually got a laugh out of it with one of Jake's old camp counselors. We looked around at all the empty chairs and wondered why she decided that she had to be right there. :confused3 Kind of funny, actually.

She wasn't there. :lmao:

Early last January we were at WDW for a week, with DD, her friend, and my parents. It was probably the most stressful and least fun trip we ever had there (not that we didn't have any fun at all, just less than usual). It was because we spent the whole week trying to balance the needs/wants of the teenagers with those of the seniors. Let's just say nobody was very much interested in what the 40-somethings wanted to do.

So, later in the month, hubby and I did two things we'd never done before - we went back on a second trip in the space of one month, and we went by ourselves (DD had work and classes she couldn't get out of). We used the AP preview of EE as our excuse for this, and we went for a 4 day weekend. It was fabulous! We stayed at the AKL and had the best time.

So, we were alone and unsupervised when we took those photos. :lmao:

Sorry, I just ate the last piece. Maybe I'll make some tomorrow.

Those pics were cute.

T&B- I ment to tell you what my DN Zoe said to my sister on the way to the meet. She woke up from her nap and wanted to know if they were at the Magic Kingdom yet.

:rotfl: How cute! Your nieces were dolls, BTW!

LB, that totally explains why you and your DH were being silly! My DH would go to WDW more often if it was just the two of us. He enjoyed that trip more than any of the others. :teeth:

Thank you, they are sweeties, especially Zoe when she only wants me and calls me her friend.

I'm just sayin .....

I'm in and out--heading to bed soon. Packing and yelling at Ben to sift the litterbox. Waiting for Alyssa to get home to give final instructions and hopefully no wild parties when we're gone. Typical day at our house. :rotfl2:

I hope you have a safe trip. When do you come home?

I'm going to bed very soon. Didn't sleep at all last night. The brain was working overtime. :sad2:

I'll talk to you when you get home.

Wireless internet access in the public areas at the hotel and high speed in the room and a DH who has to work some of the time means I'll be checking in... Guess there is a bright side. :)

I need to turn into a bed. My DH's snoring will be waking me up before I know it.
