Im working on it, maybe shave a day off in the parks and choose something cheaper for that one day.

She is already driving, staying offsite and eating PB&J and McD's all week. Can't go much cheaper than that!

Correct, and I was using dads timeshare so that was completely free.

Course, she could leave Jaw at home, and that would save her a LOT!!!

now thats one helluva idea ! His ticket cost is 400 total plus his food, and I could rent a smaller vehicle if he wasnt going...hmm gonna have to think on this

Well, my Debbie Downer husband has just reminded me that it probably best not to start calling hopitals just in case there is a reason we haven't heard any good news . Particularly in light of the tragedy with DD7's teacher that lost her full term baby just days before her due date last year.

I sure hope we hear from Ash soon! If someone has her home number maybe they could just leave a message asking if she is doing okay and letting her know we are all thinking of her.

I will continue to assume that she is in the hospital surrounded by family and friends and holding that beautiful baby and she will check in when she gets home and has access to her computer.

She doesn't seem to have an answering machine from the last time I called, and I really don't want to call now, don't want to intrude on them.

No news is good news. She'll be here when she can.

Tig, I REALLY don't want to go to the doctor, but I will if it seems as if I should, how's that?

They're all sick. This is one of those times I am happy to hide behind the desk. Usually I don't do much of that. They are coughing and snotting and they all look like they ought to go back to bed.

Say Teo, we used to love to take two days off the parks in our vacation week. One day we traveled around to the various resorts, just looking at them and having lunch at one and dinner at another, checking them all out. Another day we did Downtown Disney.......shopping, legos, Earl of Sandwich....we loved it.

well I had planned on doing 7 days disney.....Jaw has access to www.ticketsatwork.com so the difference in the 4 day ticket and the 7 day ticket isnt that much. We already had planned to go to the Space Center and the beach one day. We may just haev to knock it to 4 days but dont see how I can do any less than that. With kids ages spread out like mine are we are prety flexible. We may just have to split up so everyone can do what they want to. Just all depends on how much his bonus is and how much we get back on taxes etc...

Our snow hasn't even started yet guys, it is out to the west and we should see a couple few inches today.

And since we know Ash's name, we can just call and ask to be connected to her room and we will be! Or at least to the nurses station in the maternity ward. That is an idea Scrappy, just ask the nurse if all is well before they patch you through!! I understand the fear though, it happened to my friend at the end as well. Very sad!

OR, call the house this morning, it someone has the home phone....as her DH will most likely still be there I would think.

Dang this not knowing is driving me crazy!

Actually, when you fill out the paperwork when you go in they ask if you want people to know you are in there-- as long as you give permission then you can be reached. I have had several occasions to call hospitals since HIPAA was instituted and ask for "Jane Doe" and was connected to her room, or told she wasn't accepting calls at the time but this was her room number to direct dial later. As long as the patient gives permission they will give the information.

But I decided not to call, just in case.

I am going to go and order crocs for my kids for Christmas instead!

Oh I guess I didn't think about permission. Okay, well note, when I am in the hospital I don't give any type of permission. My doctor's are lucky I let them leave messages on my voice mail and answering machine.

dang they have taken all of the fun out of schools now !!
and the importance of not breathing in someones face and to cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. I hate to see kids cough then wipe it on their desks EWWWWWWWWWW I have a real snot phobia....wonder what thats called.

The Mickey crocs I have are 8/9 would they be too big for A? Im gonna get M some new ones next week.
